“This is something you brought upon yourself. Even if I kill you, the Divine King will have no grounds to complain!” The old woman swung her cane forward, striking out.
The cane glimmered with green light — it was a bamboo staff, lush and emerald, imprinted with the void itself, sprouting new buds, brimming with vitality and endless life force.
“Buzz!”
Yet the void was collapsing violently. The bamboo staff appeared light and delicate, but it weighed as much as ten thousand jun, crushing space itself as it struck toward Ye Fan.
The bamboo staff had fused with the void into one, tracing the trajectory of the Dao, carrying an immortal, divine radiance as it lashed down — utterly terrifying.
“Clang!”
Ye Fan swung his Dragon-Patterned Black Gold Sacred Spirit Sword to intercept it, striking the emerald bamboo. A sound like metal cutting through stone rang out, nearly bursting eardrums, shaking every organ in unison, the raw force rattling the heavens.
Between them, a black abyss appeared — the void, shattered by the blow, revealed something that swallowed everything around it, leaving onlookers horrified.
Ye Fan’s heart tightened. Even the Dragon-Patterned Black Gold Sacred Spirit Sword hadn’t been able to sever the bamboo staff — this powerhouse at the Fourth Transformation of Dragon Transformation was truly terrifying, wielding the imprint of the Dao itself in battle.
The bamboo staff had merged with heaven and earth as one; the old woman was drawing on the great momentum of the world, using the supreme Dao to suppress his physical body and sacred sword. The green bamboo seemed alive, representing resilience and immortality, its emerald hue as flawless as jade.
“Whoosh!”
The old woman advanced, appearing frail yet moving more nimbly than a ghost, gliding like a beam of light, continuously lashing out with the bamboo staff.
That small green bamboo had condensed the void itself, fused with the imprint of the Dao. Sprouting buds and unfurling emerald leaves, the imprint of life flowed through it, growing ever more unfathomable.
Ye Fan found himself fighting most uncomfortably, feeling bound hand and foot, his combat strength unable to fully unleash. This was a terrifying rhythm — the old woman controlled everything, mobilizing the might of the Dao itself.
She had transformed the Dao into her own tool, standing above all else. The green bamboo staff and the Dao had become one, embodying her will. The longer they fought, the more terrifying it became, heaven and earth gradually beginning to pulse in rhythm.
“Snap!”
The old woman’s green bamboo swept forward, striking toward Ye Fan’s head. As he dodged, she followed through, slashing toward his chest and abdomen.
Ye Fan’s heart tightened. When he swung his sacred spirit sword to strike back, he felt a strange sluggishness, unable to unleash his full power. And at that very moment, he finally sensed danger — as though a towering sky were about to collapse down upon him.
“Snap,” “Snap”…
The old woman’s green bamboo continued lashing out at an unhurried, measured pace, and the pulsing of heaven and earth grew ever more intense, resonating with this terrifying rhythm.
“Not good!” Ye Fan’s expression changed — this was the telltale sign of a world-shaking strike about to be unleashed.
“Buzz!”
The old woman planted the green bamboo staff upright in the air and shook it violently. The power of the great Dao surged forth, gentle as a spring breeze at first, then crashing like a mighty river striking the heavens, magnificent beyond compare.
The bamboo staff came back to life, lush and emerald, transforming into a towering ancient bamboo tree, verdant leaves flourishing, swaying down countless bamboo flowers, snow-white and sparkling brilliantly.
“Boom!”
This entire world collapsed. Countless bamboo staffs appeared within the void, vividly green as jade, striking toward Ye Fan all at once, like tens of thousands of true dragons coiling and dancing.
These were imprints — vivid, living imprints left behind, the accumulation of tens of thousands of strikes the old woman had lashed out earlier, each one branded into the void, now erupting all at once.
Wherever the bamboo staff had struck, a green bamboo staff now appeared, condensed with the imprint of the Dao, unleashing a devastating, all-annihilating strike.
The old woman had unhurriedly struck tens of thousands of blows, all building toward this single world-shaking strike at the critical moment — tens of thousands of imprints reviving, the great Dao crashing down!
Ye Fan fought with all his strength, forced onto the defensive. The golden Bitter Sea emerged, surging into the high sky, thunder and lightning flashing, blocking those tens of thousands of imprints.
“Boom!”
This was a violent, cataclysmic collision. Between the two sides, brilliant light erupted in all directions, unleashing an incomparably terrifying and oppressive aura that surged toward all four directions.
Ye Fan and the old woman were separated by many realms in cultivation. Only he, still capable of “defying the norm to slay immortals,” could withstand such a terrifying assault — an ordinary person would have already been reduced to ash.
This was a killing formation the old woman had set up by transforming the Dao itself, yet Ye Fan had forcibly weathered through it. The golden Bitter Sea encircled him, his own blood and qi boiling, his golden sacred body seeming to burn.
“Bang!”
He swung the Dragon-Patterned Black Gold Sacred Spirit Sword, splitting the firmament apart, finally unleashing his full combat strength — no longer bound and restrained as before, a black great dragon dancing within the strike.
“Boom!”
The sacred sword and the Bitter Sea resonated together, shattering the tens of thousands of imprints into ruin. The void collapsed massively, transforming into a broken, gaping canyon, pitch-black, swallowing the essence of heaven and earth.
“You little wretch, you actually have some skill!” The old woman’s words were icy cold, her heart far from calm — her opponent was so many realms below her, yet he had broken through the killing formation she had set.
“This old hag is truly terrifying!” Behind them, Pang Bo’s eyes flashed with silver light, the Demon Emperor’s Nine Slashes about to erupt, the dragon-shaped sacred radiance flickering faintly.
The old woman turned back coldly, as if sensing the killing intent, fixing her gaze on him and saying, “If you’re looking to die, go ahead and strike!”
“Old fossil!” Pang Bo, undaunted, was about to attack.
Suddenly, a terrifying pressure swept in again. In the distance, an earthen mound cracked open, and a disheveled, white-haired old man charged out, his arms hanging past his knees like a great macaque, his entire body gaunt and dried up, yet full of vigor, his eyes bright as golden lanterns.
“Another terrifying powerhouse at the Fourth Transformation of Dragon Transformation!” Tu Fei and Li Heishui gasped in shock, not expecting this hidden stronghold to harbor two such powerhouses — it seemed they valued these children greatly, all of them surely young geniuses.
Ye Fan retreated while holding Xiao Nannan, his expression grave as the two powerhouses appeared together — the gap in realms was too vast, and this old woman alone had already proven extremely difficult to deal with, let alone with this disheveled old man joining in.
Pang Bo stepped forward, standing alongside Ye Fan, ready to face these two formidable elders.
“You dare intrude upon the Yin-Yang Sect’s sacred ground? You don’t know what’s good for you!” The disheveled old man’s killing intent burst forth, his snow-white teeth looking sinister as he said, “It seems I emerged from seclusion at just the right time. I’ll destroy this Sacred Body and drink his blood to extend my lifespan.”
“Indeed, he brought this death upon himself anyway — that Divine King has no grounds to object either.” The old woman concurred.
“Undying old fossil, wait until I sever your heads!” Ye Fan sneered coldly, secretly exchanging voice transmissions rapidly with Pang Bo, as well as the Black Emperor and Tu Fei.
The two elders advanced together, joining forces. With every step they took, the void trembled. They were six realms above Ye Fan — truly formidable adversaries.
If it had been any other cultivator at the Four Extremes realm, they would have been killed with a single finger. Only Ye Fan, and Pang Bo at Four Extremes Great Perfection, could withstand them.
Xiao Nannan secretly opened her eyes and, upon seeing the two old men, immediately grew frightened, hastily covering her own large eyes with her small hands.
“Nannan, don’t be afraid. We’ll leave soon.” Ye Fan comforted her softly.
“You’ve gone through all this trouble just for this little girl with no memory…” The disheveled old man’s face twisted into a cruel, cold smile.
“You’ve lived such a long life already, and you’re still shameless enough to say something so inhuman?!” Ye Fan rebuked coldly.
“It was our good fortune to bring her into the Yin-Yang Sect!” the old woman said coldly.
Ye Fan felt his anger flare — Xiao Nannan had been abducted here and suffered immense grievances, unable even to eat properly, yet they called it good fortune.
“Old fossils, today I’ll beat you both until you’re crippled, and let you experience some ‘good fortune’ yourselves!”
The old woman glanced dismissively at Xiao Nannan and said, “It’s only because she lacks memory that she can’t enjoy that kind of good fortune — it’s only fitting that she remains a servant’s fate.”
“You say she’s fated to be a servant — then your Holy Maiden is only fit to serve servants!” Ye Fan said coldly.
Pang Bo also spoke coldly, “You’ve abducted so many gifted children — aren’t you afraid of provoking the wrath of the Eastern Wastes cultivators?”
The disheveled old man, like a great macaque, let out a wild cackle, saying sinisterly, “If we kill you all here, wouldn’t that solve the problem?!”
“Attack!” Ye Fan swung his sword and charged forward, beginning to circulate the Battle Sacred Technique. Against these two elders, he had to strike ruthlessly, or there would be great trouble.
“Buzz!”
Pang Bo activated the Nine Slashes even more fiercely, silver true dragons shooting from his eyes — this was the Demon Emperor’s Nine Slashes, Wound of the Divine!
“Boom!”
The void itself was slashed and caved in. The two elders’ expressions changed; they withdrew their spiritual awareness, dodging the brilliant dragon radiance, not daring to meet the Demon Emperor’s Nine Slashes with their spiritual will.
“Boom!”
Ye Fan’s Battle Sacred Technique erupted, and heaven and earth lost their color. Sword intent was born within the technique of slaughter, and the sacred spirit sword in his hand seemed to come alive, splitting through the void as it slashed forward.
“Not good!”
The two elders cried out, their arms joining together, unleashing a divine technique from outside — one force Yin, one force Yang, forming a Dao diagram together!
The Yin-Yang Grand Dao!
This was the supreme technique of the Yin-Yang Sect — typically men cultivated the Yang diagram and women the Yin diagram. In the Central Continent, there was an ancient saying: when Yin and Yang unite as one, none in this world can stand against it!
Pang Bo rushed forward urgently — this fusion of Yin and Yang unnerved him deeply. He moved to help share the burden with Ye Fan, unleashing the Demon Emperor’s Nine Slashes, Slash of Deprivation.
“Boom!”
This was a fierce, cataclysmic collision, imprints of the Dao clashing against each other — an exchange between their respective Daos, incomparably terrifying. Both sides were sent flying backward.
Ye Fan’s blood and qi surged violently, though he was otherwise unharmed. Pang Bo, however, had a trickle of blood seeping from the corner of his mouth — how could his physical body, as formidable as it was, still take such a blow?
The two old people cackled wildly, their hair disheveled, charging forward again.
“Yin and Yang united as one, invincible under heaven — both you juniors shall die!” The two elders joined arms together, letting out sinister laughter as they unleashed the Yin-Yang diagram once more.
This time, the Yin-Yang diagram was several times larger than before. Pang Bo and Ye Fan both retreated decisively — these two old fossils were far too terrifying.
Ye Fan began circulating the “All” Mystery Technique, and during this process, the two of them continued dodging.
The two elders drove the Dao diagram forward, their killing intent growing thicker, pursuing them through the void. The third time they unleashed the Yin-Yang diagram, it grew even larger still — Ultimate Yin and Ultimate Yang fusing together, utterly devastating.
It had to be said, the ancient Central Continent saying “Yin and Yang united as one, invincible under heaven” held real truth. After the two elders joined their arms together, their combined strength wasn’t merely doubled but a full five times greater!
The Yin-Yang Grand Dao, forming that massive Yin-Yang diagram, resembled the Wheel of the Divine Lord, crushing through the void with nothing able to stop it. Even Pang Bo was injured under that first strike.
Had Ye Fan not been the Sacred Body, he too would surely have vomited blood and been wounded. Yin and Yang united as one, the Dao manifesting — its combat power was astonishing, unmatched among peers of the same realm!
“Boom!”
Finally, Ye Fan triggered the “All” Mystery Technique, his combat power surging tenfold. Golden blood and qi shot into the heavens, heaven and earth losing their color as he swung his sacred spirit sword, splitting the firmament as though cleaving this world in two.
“Boom!”
The Yin-Yang diagram was shattered by his strike. The two elders spat mouthfuls of blood. Though the fusion of Yin and Yang had greatly boosted their combat strength, it still couldn’t compare to the “All” Mystery Technique.
The two elders were sent flying backward. Pang Bo swiftly unleashed the Demon Emperor’s Nine Slashes, striking them until they coughed up blood once more.
