Dai Wo You Zui Shi – Chapter 181

In this world, those who are different will always remain different.

And those of the same kind will always find each other.

Although in the eyes of the public, especially the police, Yin Feng was a successful, upright, and mature person—just with occasional peculiarities.

But now, he had developed a most innocent personality. That personality had fallen in love with a righteous female police officer.

He too had fallen in love with her.

Then he committed an unforgivable act against her.

Somehow, this woman had awakened earlier than expected and accidentally glimpsed his most deeply hidden secret.

And then, she determined his guilt.

Wei Lan pondered for a moment before saying, “Notify Chen Feng immediately, then go guard downstairs. I’ll keep watch here. Something else might happen.”

Xiao Yan nodded grimly and went downstairs.

About ten minutes later, Wei Lan, standing guard outside the master bedroom, suddenly heard a commotion from outside, along with faint voices. His heart jumped as the master bedroom door violently opened. Yin Feng’s face now bore a prominent bruise, one cheek completely swollen. His expression was ice-cold as he rushed downstairs.

Wei Lan followed: “What happened? Where is she?”

Yin Feng spoke through gritted teeth: “She jumped out the window. Is anyone stopping her outside?”

Wei Lan answered, “Yes.”

The two men ran out quickly. Suddenly, the entire garden blazed with light as someone turned on the searchlights, making everything visible. They could see two figures struggling on the path ahead—who else but You Mingxu and Xiao Yan?

Usually, Xiao Yan was no match for You Mingxu, but today she was clearly weakened, not yet recovered, and after jumping from the second-floor balcony, one leg wasn’t working properly. Entangled with Xiao Yan, she couldn’t break free.

Yin Feng stared intently at that stubborn, unyielding figure ahead, his gaze growing darker, with an even stronger desire surging beneath the darkness. He said to Wei Lan: “Call Tu Ya over. Xiao Yan can’t hold her.”

Wei Lan looked up not just Tu Ya, but Lao Jiu, Chen Feng, and Guan Jun were all there. Having heard the commotion, they had emerged from various parts of the villa and were standing silently at the edge of the flower beds.

Seven men.

No—seven psychologically disturbed offenders surrounding one female police officer.

This thought flashed through Wei Lan’s mind, accompanied by an inexplicable excitement, a powerful urge to destroy something. And Yin Feng—did he feel it too?

Wei Lan made a gesture toward Tu Ya in the distance.

Tu Ya stood still for several seconds before walking into the circle. After just a few moves, he had pinned You Mingxu’s arms, immobilizing her.

Yin Feng noticed she was still wearing the shirt he had changed her into earlier, her legs exposed. His pupils constricted as he strode over quickly. Seeing this, the others slowly followed.

With things having escalated this far, everyone understood that this situation could no longer be covered up.

What choice would Yin Feng make now?

You Mingxu’s struggle had triggered the drugs again—she appeared dizzy, her face flushing red as she began to slump toward the ground. Tu Ya quickly caught her before she could fall.

Yin Feng removed his robe, wrapped her completely in it, and took her into his arms, turning immediately toward the house.

Lao Ding spoke up: “Teacher Yin, does she know?”

Yin Feng’s footsteps halted.

Chen Feng’s brows furrowed his gaze toward the person in Yin Feng’s arms carrying both frost and reluctance.

Guan Jun said: “Teacher Yin, let me take her. I can ensure she’ll never speak again.”

Chen Feng shouted: “Nonsense! She’s a police officer—if anything happens to her, none of us will escape responsibility, including Teacher Yin! Moreover…” He trailed off.

Tu Ya spoke: “She’s a good person! Teacher Yin, don’t do something you’ll regret later!”

“Silence!” Yin Feng commanded coldly.

Xiao Yan’s face had turned pale, and she too quietly repeated Tu Ya’s words: “Teacher Yin, don’t do something you’ll regret.”

Yin Feng turned his head, his cold gaze sweeping across everyone, and said: “This is between her and me. None of you are to interfere or follow.” Then he stared at the person in his arms, speaking as if to himself: “You say you want to leave me, that you’ll investigate me, report me. But how can you leave me?” He lowered his head, holding her tighter as he walked back into the house.

At the stairs, he paused, turned, and headed toward the basement.

Those outside watched his direction in silence.

In all their years following Yin Feng, they had never seen him commit a crime. He had even restrained them, trying hard to appear normal, saying that William James, the father of American psychology, said: To become the person you want to be, you must first act like that person.

But this didn’t mean Yin Feng lacked the capacity for crime.

In the basement, he had a crime simulation room filled with various mannequins, criminal tools, and a cage.

He carried You Mingxu there alone. No one was allowed to follow.

When You Mingxu awoke again, her head was pounding severely, and her entire body ached. She knew these were the aftereffects of the drugs.

Looking around, she found herself in what appeared to be a basement, without windows or any natural light.

But the surroundings were undeniably chilling. Several life-sized mannequins stood against the walls, both male and female, old and young, their faces showing the rigidity unique to dolls, yet with unnervingly lifelike coloring.

They were all staring at her.

You Mingxu shuddered.

One wall was covered with implements—knives of various sizes, electric saws, ropes, power drills, and transparent boxes containing dissection scalpels, all gleaming faintly under the fluorescent lights.

You Mingxu struggled to get up, only to find it impossible. Her wrists and ankles rattled with metal sounds—four chains with iron rings firmly secured her to the large bed. No matter how strong she was, escape was impossible.

She examined her ankle; it had been injured when she jumped from the second floor. Someone had carefully treated and bandaged it, and it felt cool to the touch.

She shook the chains forcefully, creating a series of clanking sounds, and heard her hoarse voice shout: “Is anyone there? Yin Feng! Yin Feng, get out here!”

No response—the dungeon remained silent.

You Mingxu shouted for a while longer before exhaustion overtook her, and she collapsed back onto the bed.

She didn’t know how long she had slept or what time it was now. Her phone and personal belongings were all gone. She still wore Yin Feng’s shirt, covered by the bed’s blanket.

After about half an hour, familiar footsteps sounded on the stairs. You Mingxu turned her head to watch as he slowly descended.

Yin Feng had changed into a dress shirt and slacks. The white light cast upon him made him appear cold, and gloomy, yet handsome.

You Mingxu stared at him intently.

He walked over slowly, sat on the bed’s edge, and touched her face. You Mingxu turned away.

He then firmly gripped her chin, causing her pain, and forcing her to look at him. He lowered his head, placing a gentle kiss on her forehead, murmuring, “Ah Xu, what am I to do with you?”
