Wo Yu Cheng Feng – Chapter 107

Yue Liangze’s throat moved slightly. He sat on the edge of the bed, took the sash, and leaned forward to methodically tie it back for her.

Ling Luo cooperatively raised her hands to dress, the rustling sound of fabric concealing their breathing.

Yue Liangze noticed the teeth mark on her shoulder and gently stroked it with his warm fingertip, asking softly, “Does it hurt?”

“What do you think?” Ling Luo looked at him with a smile. “Did you consider how hard you were biting?”

Yue Liangze pressed his lips together, pulling her up and lowering his head to place a gentle kiss on her shoulder.

Ling Luo contracted her neck slightly: “That tickles.”

Yue Liangze held her without letting go, his palm lightly caressing her back.

Ling Luo tilted her head back slightly and said, “Senior Brother and the others are still outside. You’ve broken the Seven Emotions Stone Barrier; they could burst in at any moment.”

Yue Liangze finished dressing her, listening as Ling Luo laughed beside him: “Mere love and desire—how did you truly fail at this? Does Immortal Master Danshui like me that much?”

“Yes,” he answered seriously while tying her sash.

Ling Luo feigned a sigh: “Look at you, so dependent on me. What will you do if I’m not here someday?”

Yue Liangze grabbed her wrist and pulled her into his embrace. Ling Luo pressed both hands against his chest and looked up.

“Ling Luo.” Yue Liangze met her smiling eyes, about to say something when the door was forced open.

Feng Tianyao, gripping his sword, angrily shouted: “Release her!”

Ling Luo: “…”

The flying sword blades were blocked by a sword technique directed by Yue Liangze’s raised finger.

“Hey! Everyone calm down, don’t fight!” Zi Xiu stood between them, mediating. “Young Master, he’s holding my junior sister, and we aren’t anxious, so why are you? Didn’t you say you had no improper thoughts? If you did, may heaven strike you with lightning! Chu Yi, strike him!”

Chu Yi rolled his eyes, glaring fiercely at Ling Luo behind the curtain: “Hurry up and come out!”

Feng Tianyao fumed: “I don’t! Everyone saw what he just did! He…”

“He what?” Ling Luo rose from the couch, one hand brushing the hair by her ear, saying unhurriedly, “I haven’t said anything, so why are you raising your hand?”

Feng Tianyao nearly died of anger on the spot.

Who am I doing this for?!

He glared at Ling Luo. Seeing her clothes neatly arranged, the atmosphere inexplicably intimate, yet unable to find any evidence.

Feng Tianyao turned to glare at Yue Liangze. This libertine!

Yu Cang coughed lightly, pulling Feng Tianyao: “It’s good that no one’s hurt, it’s good that no one’s hurt. With the Seven Emotions Stone Barrier broken, the Twenty-Four Phase Formation can’t trap us anymore. We’re truly indebted to Immortal Master Danshui.”

Ling Luo spoke while pulling Yue Liangze toward the exit: “The formation is broken. Shouldn’t you hurry to find the White Bone Demon? Isn’t eliminating demons and protecting the Way your purpose for coming here?”

Feng Tianyao’s eyes widened—they were holding hands in front of so many people!

Yue Liangze maintained a quiet demeanor, letting her do as she pleased.

Feng Tianyao was fuming inside. You’re a man! Refuse her! Let go of her hand!

Feng Tianyao said: “Didn’t you also come for the White Bone Demon? If we’re leaving, let’s leave together.”

“I’m not,” Ling Luo said without looking back. “I came to save my senior brother.”

Yue Liangze raised an eyebrow slightly, glancing at her.

Zi Xiu appeared touched, but Chu Yi remained expressionless.

Ever since meeting Ling Luo, he had taken the blame countless times because of this junior sister.

Just as everyone exited the room into the courtyard, they saw a red-eyed crow hanging upside down on the main gate.

The White Bone Demon’s gloomy laughter reached everyone’s ears: “I wondered who was so capable, able to break the Seven Emotions Stone Barrier and the Twenty-Four Phase Formation in such a short time. So it’s all of you.”

Yue Liangze pulled Ling Luo behind him with a backward motion of his hand. Chu Yi and Yu Cang immediately drew their swords, on guard.

“The young master of Nanshan Xuehe, the disciple of Immortal Master Sanxi, and the disciple of the Holy Sword Sect—truly a complete gathering.” The red-eyed crow spread its wings and flew into the void, its gaze sweeping over everyone present.

Feng Tianyao said coldly: “Enough nonsense. Release the people you’ve captured!”

“The son of Feng Tianyao.” The red-eyed crow’s tone was meaningful. It let out a low laugh, saying ominously, “I had planned to play with you later, but since you’re so impatient, I’ll accommodate you.”

Suddenly, demonic energy surged. The red-eyed crow’s form expanded violently, extending and flapping massive wings as it flew toward Feng Tianyao.

Feng Tianyao laughed coldly, calmly countering. Shuofang slashed out with divine sword intent. At the moment the red-eyed crow transformed into countless black feathers and dispersed, a grim white bone extended from the opening black lines, penetrating the barrier of divine sword intent, grabbing Feng Tianyao by the throat, and dragging him toward the Death Mist Gate.

No one except Ling Luo had anticipated that there would be a Death Mist Gate within the black feathers.

Ling Luo had experienced this in her previous life. Back then, she had broken the formation, and when the formation broke, the White Bone Demon appeared and captured both her and Feng Tianyao.

What happened afterward indirectly changed her entire life.

Now, everyone’s reactions and speed upon discovering that the White Bone Demon intended to take Feng Tianyao through the Death Mist Gate were extremely quick.

Chu Yi pushed Zi Xiu aside to avoid injuring him, while simultaneously slashing at the white demonic claw. Yu Cang, who was closest to Feng Tianyao, reacted similarly.

Just as Yue Liangze drew his sword, he saw Ling Luo move even faster, directly teleporting in front of Feng Tianyao. The sound of Sui Wu’s sword made the White Bone Demon wary.

In a flash, the White Bone Demon used the Death Mist Gate’s strongest defense, which couldn’t be blocked, to take away both Feng Tianyao and Ling Luo.

The Death Mist Gate closed silently, leaving only a trace of slowly disappearing blackness.

Yue Liangze’s hand on his sword hilt tightened.

Chu Yi exploded in anger, cursing his junior sister: “Why did she run so fast to block in front?!”

Zi Xiu wiped his face and said: “Let’s find them! Quickly!”

With the Twenty-Four Phase Formation removed, the strange mountain rocks before they dispersed, revealing a path that crossed through a valley river. The other disciples who had been trapped in the formation were also there.

Yue Liangze saw Song Yuanyuan waving and running toward him.

He had found his “son,” but lost the person in his heart.

The valley path wound upward. On the misty mountain peak, there stood a massive courtyard.

The sky remained at dusk, with orange and crimson intertwining to ignite the horizon. The reflection of a corner of the sky in roadside puddles was filled with oppression and sorrow.

Feng Tianyao, his hands restrained behind his back by a white bone frame, was reluctantly escorted into the courtyard surrounded by flowering trees.

In the center of the main hall stood a jade stone chair. A woman wearing a snow-white fox fur coat sat quietly against the backrest. Her hands cradled a blue pearl, inside which was a small boat anchored on a reddish river surface.

Feng Tianyao froze when he saw her.

He should address this person respectfully as Senior or Immortal Master.

The White Bone Demon had taken Zuo Bai’s remains from Shunyi Town, then collaborated with the Moon Palace’s Master Jiang Miao to seize the secret treasure Flying Thunder Pearl from Qishan and the Moon Palace’s ultimate spell, all to resurrect his long-dead master.

Ling Luo thought the White Bone Demon was like Yun Shouxi—both crazy and perverse.

Zuo Bai had been firm in her stance and beliefs, irreconcilable with demonic forces. Even in death, she would not willingly turn to demonism.

She would protect her half-demon disciple, but would never accept her disciple becoming a demon.

That’s why the man now kneeling humbly on one knee before Zuo Bai’s corpse had died in such a manner.

“What… what have you done to Immortal Master Zuo Bai?!” Feng Tianyao said angrily. “She’s already dead, and you still won’t leave her alone!”

When Zuo Bai was removed from Shunyi Town, she was already just bones. Now, however, her physical body had been restored. Apart from the deathly aura surrounding her, as she sat with closed eyes on the jade chair, she seemed truly alive again.

The White Bone Demon placed Zuo Bai’s hand back under the warm coat and turned to look coldly at Feng Tianyao: “It’s you hypocrites who won’t leave her alone!”

Feng Tianyao snorted coldly. Since entering, his hands behind his back had been gathering power for a sword technique. Now he suddenly broke free from the white bone’s restraint. Shuofang returned to his hand, and he slashed out another divine sword intent.

Demons and monsters would disintegrate on contact.

The White Bone Demon thought he was merely struggling in vain. He flew over, intending to capture him again, but was pushed back by the fierce, intense divine sword intent.

Looking at the cracks on the back of his hand, he laughed softly. “Your divine sword intent is not even half as good as your father’s.”

Feng Tianyao raised his chin, showing no anger at being mocked, but instead responding matter-of-factly: “Nonsense! Of course, my father’s divine sword intent is unmatched, but this level is enough to deal with you!”

The White Bone Demon supported his forehead, laughing and extending his hand as demonic energy surged: “Such arrogant words. Fine, before your father arrives, I’ll play with you a bit.”

A malicious smile curved beneath his black cloak hood: “I just fear your father won’t be able to bear seeing his son in such a disfigured state when he arrives.”

Feng Tianyao raised an eyebrow, his expression disdainful, completely disregarding the other’s threat.

The two began fighting while taunting each other, creating considerable commotion. Besides feeling his divine sword intent suppressed by his father and Ling Luo, Feng Tianyao had always had smooth sailing.

Ling Luo flexed her wrist, easily kicking away the white bones that restrained her. She stood upright, looking at the woman on the chair inside the house.

Zuo Bai held the Flying Thunder Pearl. The pearl had helped restore her physical body but couldn’t bring back her soul. What remained in the human world was merely an empty shell.

Ling Luo drew her sword, and the mist from Sui Wu’s dissipation surrounded the courtyard.

She slashed toward Zuo Bai but was intercepted by the White Bone Demon who flew back. The collision of their spiritual powers created aftershocks that swept across the entire mountaintop.

The sword momentum blew off the White Bone Demon’s hood, revealing a face that was half grim white bone.

The White Bone Demon looked at Ling Luo with vicious eyes: “Are you seeking death?”

Ling Luo teleported to his front and attacked again.

Behind them, Feng Tianyao was momentarily stunned. When the fierce sword momentum stirred his clothes and hair, he finally snapped back to his senses and shouted: “Why are you fighting her?! If you want to fight, come at me!”

The White Bone Demon coldly mocked: “You little guy want to play the hero and save the beauty? Is this what your heartless father taught you? What a joke!”

Hearing this, Feng Tianyao became furious: “Shut up! How dare you speak nonsense about my father?”

He brandished his sword and joined the battle, determined to fight the White Bone Demon to the death!

The White Bone Demon had intended to teach him a lesson but caught a glimpse of Ling Luo’s sword slashing directly at Zuo Bai. Enraged, he scattered black crow feathers like blade edges, which flew toward her with whistling sounds, forcing Ling Luo back.

Yet Ling Luo neither avoided nor retreated. Her figure moved nimbly, her toes stepping on the crow feathers as she approached Zuo Bai behind the White Bone Demon.

Red light flashed in the White Bone Demon’s eyes. A shrill cry came from the surging demonic energy. A massive white skeleton frame descended from the void, firmly isolating Ling Luo outside.

Pushed back by the giant skeleton frame, Ling Luo pointed her sword at the White Bone Demon and arrogantly said: “She finally escaped this filthy mortal world, yet you insist on bringing her back to suffer?”

The White Bone Demon glowered: “What do you understand?”

Ling Luo mocked: “Do you think she would be happy to see you as a demon after she’s resurrected?”

She glanced at Feng Tianyao behind her from the corner of her eye, her lips curving slightly as she deliberately spoke mockingly: “Left Bai would least want to see you. If not for losing her spiritual veins to save you, how would she have been married to the Zhao family and suffered such humiliation? And how would all those subsequent events have happened?”

The White Bone Demon clenched his fists, his red-glowing eyes fixed on Ling Luo, wishing to tear her into a thousand pieces.

Ling Luo bluntly poked at his pain: “You had an excellent master, but instead of repaying her, you caused her death.”

“Silence!” The White Bone Demon could bear it no longer. He growled, his gaze sweeping venomously from Ling Luo to Feng Tianyao. “My master was kind-hearted. She accepted a half-demon as her disciple and gave her spiritual veins to help me become a complete human! She eliminated demons, slayed monsters, maintained order in the human world, and saved countless people! But in the end, did anyone save her?”

The White Bone Demon stared at Feng Tianyao: “Her sect gave her no protection. From birth, she was a being that could not see the light, because her brother was jealous of her talent and cultivation!”

Feng Tianyao’s heart skipped a beat at his stare. The words sounded bizarre—Zuo Bai had a brother?

“The Feng family’s divine sword intent? Hah, the world’s strongest swordsmanship, capable of destroying evil demons and ten thousand monsters, a legacy left by the upper divine realm to the mortal world, always regarded as the supreme glory in the cultivation world.” The White Bone Demon stood in front of Zuo Bai, his eyes revealing hatred. “For that foolish brother, she never used this swordsmanship, creating instead the Fang Tian sword intent, all to uphold the beliefs of her sect and family!”

Feng Tianyao asked in confusion: “What do you mean? How would Zuo Bai know the divine sword’s intent? What brother? Don’t talk nonsense here!”

Ling Luo lowered her eyes to gaze at Sui Wu’s transparent blade. In this life, she had decided to bring certain matters to light earlier.

For instance, letting Feng Tianyao know the unknown aspects of his father.

Suddenly, the White Bone Demon teleported in front of Feng Tianyao. Countless skeleton frames rose from the ground, the surging demonic energy neutralizing his spiritual power. Feng Tianyao was no match, forced to kneel with his sword by the White Bone Demon and the skeleton frames.

“Remember this face carefully.” The White Bone Demon pointed at Zuo Bai under the eaves. “Even your father, when he comes here, must call her ‘Elder Sister.'”

Feng Tianyao looked up in shock, his eyes filled with disbelief.

He turned his head angrily, wanting to argue with the White Bone Demon: “You’re lying!”

Ling Luo said calmly: “You should call her Aunt.”

Feng Tianyao raged: “Don’t believe this Twenty-Six Demon’s nonsense!”

But Ling Luo smiled at him, a smile with hints of meaning and mockery.

She walked toward Feng Tianyao with her sword, and with each step, golden spiritual energy rose from the transparent blade.

Ling Luo said: “Your father disliked this elder sister from childhood, because of her unmentionable background, her unseemly appearance, and her physical defects. But most importantly, this elder sister learned the divine sword intent before him.”

Both Feng Tianyao and the White Bone Demon were stunned by Ling Luo’s words.

The former was utterly shocked, the latter frowned in surprise.

“What… what do you mean?” Feng Tianyao’s throat moved slightly, his voice husky. “Why are you also talking nonsense like this demon? My father doesn’t have any sister!”

“You simply don’t know. As the master of Nanshan Xuehe and a respected powerhouse in the cultivation world, erasing certain existences is as easy as turning over his palm.” The gold spell marks on the back of Ling Luo’s sword-holding hand were gradually dissipating.

She observed with interest as Feng Tianyao’s expression shifted from wavering to collapse.

At this moment, Feng Tianyao could already sense the sword’s intent gradually awakening Ling Luo.

The White Bone Demon’s expression became solemn, his gaze surprised as he looked at Ling Luo: “How to do you…”

Ling Luo: “Your father pursued ultimate strength, believing himself supreme, but as a child, he lived in his sister’s shadow, simply because she was more talented than him.”

Ling Luo raised her sword, pointing it at Feng Tianyao.

The sword’s momentum erupted, sweeping across, the dragon’s roar majestic, shaking heaven and earth.

As the divine sword intent formed, golden fireflies condensed rapidly into shape.

During the Grand Feast at the Golden Phoenix Pool, Feng Tianyao’s sword intent had only formed a dragon’s head. Now, a golden dragon’s massive claw rested on Ling Luo’s shoulder. Dragon whiskers descended from above, dragon scales reflected light, and after its long tail coiled on the ground, crushing all the skeleton frames present, it raised itself, looking down upon all things in the world from on high.

Feng Tianyao watched this scene in shock, all color draining from his face.

Clouds and mist swirled, the golden dragon roared, and under its imposing pressure, the White Bone Demon groaned, injured by the invisible sword intent.

“Sect Master Feng arrives so quickly,” Ling Luo mocked, looking at the man walking through the thin mist. “Truly eager to save his son.”

Feng Tianyao turned his head with difficulty, his bloodshot eyes reflecting the tall figure he had looked up to since childhood, walking toward them.
