Chapter 777: The Peak of the Train

“‘Heavenly Mouth’…?” Wei Yang asked.

“Yes.” Qi Xia nodded. “It’s really convenient to converse with someone who can ‘read minds’.”

“There’s a very spacious training ground there…” Wei Yang slowly squeezed out a sinister smile. “Can I… hear the ‘scarecrow’s’ song there?”

“It’s a big project, but if you want to, of course you can.” Qi Xia nodded. “There are quite a few corpses there, and there will be even more in the future.”

“You really are a freak.” Wei Yang said. “You’ve been with me for so long, yet you haven’t asked a single question.”

“Perhaps I can also ‘read minds’.” Qi Xia replied. “Let’s meet at ‘Heavenly Mouth’.”

Seeing Qi Xia about to turn and leave directly, Wei Yang finally couldn’t hold back.

He stretched out his hand and pointed at the black bead hovering above Qi Xia’s head, saying, “Are you really going to run around the streets with that bead…?”

“Yes.” Qi Xia smiled. “This is the best ‘lie detector’, even ‘Earth-level’ beings cannot defy it. Not only that, you personally demonstrated how to use it for me.”

“You…” Wei Yang was startled. “You’re fucking going to wear the ‘Heavenly-Serpent Moment’ and question ‘Earth-level’ beings?!”

“Yes, you also said this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.” Qi Xia sneered at Wei Yang coldly. “If I’m not mistaken, the upcoming ‘Heavenly-level’ moments will become increasingly frequent.”

Wei Yang nodded after hearing this. “Even if you can figure out everything that’s happening… there won’t be many people left alive here. What are you going to do then?”

“No one will die.” Qi Xia revealed a trace of manic laughter, and his eyes suddenly widened. “Even if those Heavenly-level beings work themselves to death, the people here won’t have any problems.”

“What exactly is your ‘Endless Life and Growth’…?”

“I haven’t tested its upper limit yet.” Qi Xia said. “This opportunity is just right, so don’t be afraid of death, just go ahead and become corpses. It doesn’t matter how gruesome your death is.”

After hearing this, Qi Xia’s lips curved upward, and he said softly to Wei Yang, “Just now when you were dangling that black sphere, you should have asked me this question. I would have been doomed.”

“So even you don’t know the answer to this question…?” Wei Yang asked with a stern face. “Aren’t you afraid that this place will lose control because of your ability?”

“Loss of control would be best.” Qi Xia said. “This place is just lacking a complete loss of control.”

“Qi Xia… you really…”

“Stop wasting my time. Either go back to your farm and wait to die, or go to ‘Heavenly Mouth’ and wait to die.”

After these words, Qi Xia pushed past Wei Yang and walked out the door.

Wei Yang stood in the room, staring blankly at Qi Xia’s retreating figure, feeling that he had come here with such confidence, but the plan he had set beforehand had been completely disrupted by Qi Xia. Now he didn’t know what to do.

Perhaps he shouldn’t have cooperated with such a dangerous person from the beginning. What he wanted was just a simple one-plus-one-equals-two cooperation, but the other party was trying to use him to deduce the laws of the world.

Their levels seemed to have been vastly different from the very start.

“So you’ve finally gone mad after all… This might be a good thing too… hehe…” Wei Yang grinned and raised his head, saying, “Heavenly-Serpent… I’m going to ‘Heavenly Mouth’ right now… I’ll know everyone’s plans… just you wait.”

Qi Xia arrived at the street. At this time, all the black raindrops in the sky had already fallen and should be hovering above every living person’s head.

“There are quite a few more survivors than I imagined.” Qi Xia recalled the ‘rainstorm’ from earlier and murmured to himself.

Was the lethality of the ‘Heavenly-level Moment’ weakened, or were there simply too many living people here?

This place was as large as an entire city, yet the living were scattered and hidden everywhere. To find them, one could only rely on ‘Heavenly-level Moments’.

After speaking, Qi Xia reached up toward his head, wanting to touch the bead hovering there.

But it seemed to have a life of its own. Every centimeter Qi Xia’s hand approached, it moved away by a centimeter, always maintaining distance from him.

Qi Xia shook his head, determined his direction, and continued walking forward.

This pitch-black rainstorm had rarely brought wind to the ‘Land of the End’.

When that sticky, foul-smelling breeze brushed past their faces, making it impossible to keep one’s eyes open, everyone finally realized that the gentle breeze that could comfort the soul in the real world had become a bone-scraping steel knife upon arriving at the ‘Land of the End’.

It would pick up fragments of clothing from corpses on the ground and blow the crimson powder that filled the sky, then roll these foul-smelling things into the already foul-smelling air, where they would spiral for a long time before falling back down.

Wind—where was this wind? This was the corpses of everyone from seventy years, and the wails of countless souls that would never be reborn.

**The Train.**

Qinglong crossed through the train horizontally. On both sides were tightly closed doors. He didn’t stop, walking straight ahead. Before long, the wooden doors on both sides gradually disappeared, and before his eyes were only endless walls.

After walking for quite a while longer, he finally reached the very end of the entire ‘Train’.

At the end was a half-open iron door.

Qinglong gently pushed the door open and looked inside. There was a large round table in the room, and several people sat near the round table. Some were lying on the table surface, others were leaning back in their chairs, all deeply asleep at this moment.

In the center of the round table was an ornately patterned clock, ticking away.

Qinglong frowned as he surveyed these people, then looked at the several vacant chairs, feeling somewhat strange.

Where did ‘Heavenly-Serpent’ go?

He cleared his throat. Seeing that these people continued sleeping and paid no attention to him, he walked across the room with a stern face and came to another iron door on the opposite side.

This iron door was larger than the previous one, but it wasn’t left ajar—instead, it was tightly closed.

Qinglong moved his body toward the iron door. In just the blink of an eye, he disappeared from his original position and arrived on the other side of the iron door.

This was an extraordinarily spacious pure white room, like a golden throne hall that had lost its color.

The first thing that caught his eye was a突兀 tree in the center of the hall. This tree appeared to be several decades old, covered with verdant green leaves that seemed particularly out of place in the entire ‘Land of the End’.

Qinglong walked around the tree in front of him and continued forward a few steps. Ahead were layer upon layer of ascending stairs, and atop the stairs were two thrones, one on the left and one on the right.

Tianlong was lazily sitting on the throne on the right, his body slightly tilted, his eyes slightly closed, his right hand supporting the side of his face, still sleeping.

This enormous room was as quiet as if there were no living things in it at all.

Qinglong stood at the bottom of the stairs, looking coldly at Tianlong.

The two had identical faces, with only a slight difference in the mark between their eyebrows.

“Did you deliver a message to ‘Heavenly-Serpent’…?” Qinglong asked softly.
