Division 9 – Chapter 107

The brocade-robed young master, seeing her hostile gaze, cheerfully ran forward and untied Qing Xia’s horse reins from the tree, leading the black horse over and obsequiously presenting it to Qing Xia, saying happily, “Here, for you.”

Qing Xia raised an eyebrow slightly, looking at this inexplicable young man. She only felt that his pair of eyes were long and narrow like a fox’s, making it impossible to see what he was thinking at a glance.

The wailing sounds behind gradually subsided, and the sound of tables and chairs being moved came from inside the gambling house. Without time to think about anything, Qing Xia grabbed the reins and leaped onto the horse. She said to the young master, “Thank you,” then spurred her horse and departed.

The brocade-robed young master watched as Qing Xia rode away in a cloud of dust, his mouth corners pulling into a wide smile. Seeing that Qing Xia had disappeared, he hurriedly ran to those big men who had been thoroughly beaten by Qing Xia, helping the fellow called Mu Gudai stand up, loudly calling, “Hey! Are you all right?”

Mu Gudai’s eyes were rolled back white, looking like he had already kicked the bucket.

“Hey! Wake up!”

Mu Gudai was very persistent in his belief that he was already dead, turning a deaf ear to the outside world. The brocade-robed young master frowned, suddenly raising his hand and delivering two hard slaps across Mu Gudai’s face.

Two crisp slaps later, Mu Gudai finally regained consciousness, loudly shouting, “Ah! Who the hell hit me?”

“It was that girl just now,” the young master hurriedly shouted, pointing in the direction Qing Xia had fled, “She ran that way.”

“That damn bitch!”

A whole group of people ran out of the gambling house in disarray. No one knew what methods that girl had used to rescue someone from the hands of so many big men. Mu Gudai, seeing his numerous subordinates, immediately gained courage and loudly shouted, “Brothers, grab your weapons and follow me to teach that woman a lesson!”

Everyone roared in response, mounting their horses one after another and following behind Mu Gudai as they galloped toward the village outside the city.

“Young Master, Young Master, we found Quick Snow!”

Two guards suddenly ran up from one side of the long street. The young master’s expression brightened with joy as he smiled, “Good! Let’s quickly follow them.”

In a short while, the Yi Ru Gambling House became completely quiet. Everyone exited through the north gate, wildly chasing after the woman galloping on the snowy plains road.

“Jiema Agu, they’re catching up.” Although A Mo Ye was young, she was very bold. After being kidnapped and tossed about like this, she showed no fear at all. Her pair of eyes blinked spiritedly, and her small body actually seemed a bit excited. Qing Xia smiled faintly, holding the child and asking, “A Mo Ye, did they bully you?”

“They whipped A Mo Ye, three times.” The child hurriedly said, not caring that they were still on horseback, actually rolling up her sleeve and holding up her thin little wrist in front of Qing Xia’s eyes, saying like she was tattling, “Right here.”

Qing Xia’s brow suddenly furrowed. After thinking, she said in a deep voice, “A Mo Ye, wait. Jiema Agu will avenge you.”

On the flat ancient road, a group of horses and riders came roaring along. A broken gong-like voice loudly called out, “Big Brother, they’re nowhere to be seen. Should we still chase?”

This man’s left wrist had already been broken by Qing Xia. Obviously frightened, he asked timidly.

Mu Gudai glared at him fiercely, saying hatefully, “If we don’t catch that little bitch today, it won’t resolve the hatred in my heart! Damn it, I’ll definitely make her beg for life but not get it, beg for death but not die. When I’m doing her, you’ll all watch from the side.”

“Yes!” Everyone answered with lewd laughter.

Mu Gudai continued, “That little bitch caught us off guard just now. Everyone be alert later. Go directly to Tu Ha’s house and catch a whole nest of old and young. We won’t worry about that little bitch not showing her face.”

“Big Brother is brilliant.”

As soon as the words fell, before Mu Gudai could laugh triumphantly, suddenly a snow-white shadow leaped down from a tall withered tree above his head. With a bone-crushing crash, Mu Gudai screamed and fell from his horse to the ground. His war horse beneath whinnied shrilly, the white shadow flickered, and in an instant appeared before Mu Gudai.

“Ah!” Everyone cried out in unison. They saw Mu Gudai tightly gripped in Qing Xia’s hands, a bright white dagger pressed against his throat. The woman’s snow-white long fur coat made her face appear even more beautiful like a painting. The corners of her mouth pulled up faintly as she looked at the panicked Mu Gudai matter-of-factly. The man was shocked and terrified. In his panic, disregarding that his life was being held in someone’s hands, he wildly swung his arms to strike at Qing Xia. Qing Xia didn’t even glance at him. With one hand making a scissor motion, with a crisp crack, Mu Gudai’s two arms bent to the side at odd angles like a broken puppet, immediately rendered useless.

“Ah!” Another pig-slaughtering scream. Mu Gudai’s tears and snot flowed down torrentially. Qing Xia frowned slightly, looking at the man crouched on the ground crying loudly, a trace of impatience rising in her eyes. Suddenly she kicked hard at his chest that she had just injured, sternly shouting, “Shut up!”

More effective than anything else, the man who had always been tyrannical in the Bailang County area immediately fell silent, grimacing as he wiped clean his tears and snot, afraid of receiving another undeserved kick.

“Let go of our big brother, let go!” A group of big men frightened like quails shouted in unison, their voices chaotic and messy. You could tell they were just trying to keep up appearances without any real confidence.

Qing Xia impatiently frowned, bothered as she raised her little finger and turned it in her ear twice, saying carelessly, “Back off. One step forward and I’ll cut off one of his ears.”

“You… you woman, let go of our big brother…”

A big man suddenly spoke loudly to show his loyalty, fearlessly puffing out his chest. His feet shifted slightly as he actually leaned forward, exploring with his body.

With a “swish,” her hand rose and the knife fell. Mu Gudai’s screams instantly shot straight to the heavens, soaring to the clouds. His inhuman wails could be heard for hundreds of miles around. Qing Xia gripped his bloody ear, saying to the people surrounding them, “One step forward, cut one ear. Half a step gets half an ear cut.” As she spoke, her gaze turned fierce as she suddenly yanked hard downward.

“Ah! Back off! Damn it, all of you get the hell away from me!”

Mu Gudai’s tears and snot flowed together as he cried like his mother had died. Qing Xia sneered and stopped, saying lightly, “Mu Gudai, you seemed to be looking for me just now. Is there something you need?”

“No… nothing…”

“Hmm?” Qing Xia raised an eyebrow, immediately applying pressure with her hand again.

“Ah! Ah! Great King, spare my life! This lowly one will never dare again!”

Qing Xia chuckled and said, “I’m no great king, at most just a stinking bitch. Mu Gudai, you’re quite bold. It seems you didn’t listen to a single word I said to you before. So I very much need to leave you a permanent memento, so that whenever you see it, you’ll think of me.”

Having spoken, her gaze suddenly flashed with vicious intent. The dagger moved with lightning speed, slashing through the air. A spray of blood shot skyward as Mu Gudai’s right hand was cleanly severed.

This shocked everyone completely. Even Mu Gudai himself was stunned speechless, not even screaming before fainting.

Qing Xia threw Mu Gudai’s body to the ground, saying coldly to the others, “Take him back. This is my final warning to you. If you dare to commit evil acts again in the future or trouble Aunt Duo Yi Hua’s family, next time what’s severed definitely won’t be just one hand. I have good credibility, do what I say, and never break my word. If you don’t believe me, feel free to try. But don’t blame me for not warning you beforehand – there’s only one chance. Those who try once will never see the sun of the second day.”

“Yes, yes, we understand.” A chorus of agreement. More than forty big men who were usually arrogant and domineering on the streets were all frightened into submission, bowing and scraping like a pack of dogs as they fled in disarray, disappearing without a trace in moments.

Seeing them go far away, Qing Xia walked to a tree beside the main road. With agile hands and feet, she climbed up. Soon she brought A Mo Ye down from the tree. After all this commotion, not only was the little one not afraid at all, but she said excitedly, “Jiema Agu, you’re amazing!”

Qing Xia smiled faintly, noncommittally. She whistled toward the snowy plains, and soon the black horse came galloping over. Qing Xia nimbly mounted and spurred the horse forward. Toward such evil people, Qing Xia never showed mercy. If not for considering that A Mo Ye was present, she might very well have killed Mu Gudai. Such people bullied men and women in the marketplace, not knowing how many evil deeds they had committed. Although Xu Da Lie was formidable, two fists could hardly match four hands. If someday she left, these evil people might seek revenge, then her actions today would instead plant seeds of disaster for Aunt Duo Yi Hua’s family. When dealing with such people, either exterminate them completely or use thunderous methods to intimidate them. Qing Xia never believed in inherent human goodness. At this moment, she was pondering finding an opportunity to uproot this malignant tumor in Bailang County completely. This would also repay Aunt Duo Yi Hua’s family for their care over these days.

While thinking, suddenly a barely perceptible sound reached her ears. Having long rolled on the edge of death, Qing Xia was very cautious about any disturbance. Hearing the sound, she immediately stopped her horse and slightly turned her head. She heard that as she stopped, the sound behind also came to an abrupt halt.

Suddenly seeing birds flying rapidly from a large tree, Qing Xia’s mouth corners pulled slightly as she untied a golden bell from the black horse’s head. This was something Ban Bu Er had just given her a few days ago. After weighing it twice in her hand, Qing Xia spun around like a whirlwind and with a whoosh, threw it toward the source of the sound.

With a cry of “Ouch,” someone screamed. Qing Xia’s mouth corners pulled up wickedly. Her throwing knife skills had once been the crown of the three armies. Many high-ranking officials from the Military Intelligence Division and Intelligence Agency personally sought her as a master for training. Her accuracy was precise, her technique ingenious, her arm strength tremendous – absolutely peak perfection. Trying to track her at such close distance – wasn’t this asking for trouble?
