Author’s Concluding Note

When I wrote the word “End,” I felt satisfied yet reluctant to let go. Another book has concluded. Looking back from when I officially started writing web novels in late 2009 until now, I can’t help but marvel at how time slips through one’s fingers like sand.

But these past few years have been my most fulfilling, because of you, my readers, keeping me company. It’s because of you that my writing has more meaning. Without anyone to share it with, even the most beautiful story would seem dim.

To me, each story is a life.

As each story is constructed, in my heart it marks the beginning of a life journey, and when that journey reaches its end, it becomes a complete life. Though these lives aren’t perfect, it’s precisely their imperfection that makes them real.

I feel that the writing life suits my taste perfectly. I think I’ll continue walking this path for the rest of my life until I’m too old and deaf to type on a keyboard anymore.

With each book, I seek progress and change. To be honest, “Family Enterprise” has had moderate success, significantly less than “Elder Sister.” I know this is because both the subject matter and writing style of “Family Enterprise” are somewhat unconventional.

Yet this is the book I’m most satisfied with so far. Though romance remains my weakness, this book was never meant to be about love from its conception. That’s why I chose the title “Family Enterprise” – it aims to express the rise and fall of a family business, the spirit of dedication our ancestors had toward their family enterprises, and my love for Hui ink. I feel it has expressed what I wanted to convey, though some parts might seem didactic. But I believe certain beautiful things, things that inspire people to strive forward, must be preserved.

The themes of struggle and perseverance will always be life’s central themes.

Regarding my new book, I’ll continue writing “A’Dai.” I don’t like abandoning works, and this story is another interesting and heartwarming tale. The whole story incorporates a branch of traditional Chinese medicine, the Taisu Pulse. If you’re interested, you can look up the content of the Taisu Pulse Rhymes – it’s truly fascinating.

So, I will continue to complete it. You can bookmark it for now.

Of course, given my habits, I need to rest for a while after finishing a book. I tend to get deeply involved in my stories, so this time allows me to step out of the previous story before stepping into a new one and starting a new journey.

Therefore, my break will be from now until mid-July. Conveniently, there’s a World Cup during this time. Recently, I watched several Premier League matches and discovered that football can more directly embody youth, struggle, passion, and glory. After watching a few matches, I’ve become quite engrossed. It’s perfect timing to thoroughly enjoy this football feast.

Of course, I’m absolutely a casual fan – I’m still trying to figure out what offside is and how it’s created, haha!

Hugging you all once again.

Also, in a couple of days, after my completion application is approved, there will be a completion satisfaction survey displayed. Please come back then to vote for me. Thank you!!
