Synopsis:
Liu Chaoming remembers his first encounter with Su Jin in the late spring of the twenty-third year of Jingyuan.
That season was always rainy.
He stepped off the sedan at Zhuque Bridge, and she bowed to him through the curtain of rain.
The rain fell in soft, scattered threads, making it hard for him to see her clearly. All he remembered was that she wore plain white clothes, and her bright eyes seemed to contain the fire of a blazing wildfire.
Notes:
1. No angst – The story is not meant to be filled with emotional torment. Both the first and second male leads treat the female lead extremely well. Societal or cultural issues are not the primary focus here.
2. On pampering: The first male lead is calm and subtle in his affection, while the second male lead is bold and unrestrained.
3. Both the first and second male leads are main characters, and there will absolutely be no love triangle drama.
4. The plot is primarily story-driven, and the romance will be well-developed, but please don’t overly focus on romantic conflicts. Thank you!
5. Prologue: The prologue offers only a glimpse of what’s to come, so don’t take it as the full picture—don’t jump to conclusions too quickly.
6. Word of caution: It’s said that one should not always trust the blurb entirely.

Story Description:
Set on a rainy late spring day in Qinhuai, Su Jin becomes embroiled in a case concerning the disappearance of a friend. As she seeks the truth, she is disillusioned by the realization that those in power have their own agendas. For the sake of their own desires or to maintain control over the people, they are willing to slaughter innocent scholars and righteous men. This motivates Su Jin to become an imperial censor dedicated to setting things right.
Coming from a family of scholars, with a heart full of ambition, Su Jin embarks on a lonely path of righteousness. Along this journey, she meets Liu Chaoming, who, like the moon, uses his strength and wisdom to clear the path for her. She also encounters Zhu Nanxian, who, like the blazing sun, showers her with love, illuminating her lonely world. However, the political situation is unstable, with regional warlords and conflicting political views. After the turmoil, Su Jin hopes for a new era of peace and prosperity, where the old, corrupt systems are overthrown.
