The two of them came downstairs like two friends taking a stroll, stepping onto this foul-smelling, bizarre flesh-and-blood world.
The massive flesh-and-blood clock and display screen below had disappeared. Neither of them paid it any attention as they walked straight forward.
This strange dream world was full of faceless people everywhere. They came and went on the streets as if they had their own lives.
This time was different from the last. No one paid any attention to their movements anymore. They didn’t linger in place either, but were busy with their own lives like all living beings.
They had no faces, so like all living beings, they couldn’t see the road ahead and couldn’t voice their suffering.
Looking at the bustling scenery along the street, Heavenly-Dragon felt that this dream realm was somewhat strange compared to last time.
It seemed… to have stabilized?
Although saying ‘stable’ in this bizarre world was somewhat strange, it just wasn’t as turbulent as before.
When he had entered here previously, his only impression of Baiyang was ‘insane.’
But what about now?
Everyone here seemed to have found their own life. If one observed carefully, one could even discover faceless delivery workers and small vendors chatting and joking on the street.
It was just that they were all completely quiet, without a single sound.
“Heavenly-Dragon, do you want to hear a story?” Qi Xia asked.
“A story?”
“That’s right.” Qi Xia nodded. “A story about ‘eternity.'”
“I’ll pass.” Heavenly-Dragon sighed lightly. “Those bewitching deceptions of yours don’t work anymore. You should think about how you’re going to survive under my hands.”
“What a pity.” Qi Xia also revealed a smile. “Perhaps when I ask you again in a moment, your answer will be different.”
They stopped talking and then walked for several more minutes.
“Baiyang… you’re a particular person.” Heavenly-Dragon murmured. “Walking this far, are you choosing an auspicious burial site for yourself?”
“I’m just afraid of breaking the furniture in my home.” Qi Xia answered. “What about you? Do you have any requirements for your burial ground?”
“No special requirements.” Heavenly-Dragon shook his head. “My only hope is that it would be best if it contained only your corpse.”
“Reasonable. I also hope it contains only you.”
Heavenly-Dragon clenched his fists slightly behind Qi Xia, feeling that his condition was still somewhat poor. Today, he seemed to have activated the most powerful ‘Dream Entry’ in history. His palms were still trembling now.
“Heavenly-Dragon, you’re also a particular person.” Qi Xia said. “Don’t you plan to ‘Disintegrate’ me right now?”
“You said you would grant me a defeat.” Heavenly-Dragon smiled behind Qi Xia. “If I ambush you, how would you be convinced?”
“How about we change the way of saying it.” Qi Xia said. “Even you aren’t certain whether you can ‘Disintegrate’ me right now, correct?”
After hearing this, Heavenly-Dragon remained silent.
“The reason you can ‘Disintegrate’ ‘Participants’ is because you’ve always regarded yourself as a ‘god’ and them as ‘ants’ that can be crushed at will.” Qi Xia shook his head. “But within this space, you consider yourself and me as equals. This causes your ‘conviction’ to be unable to support you ‘Disintegrating’ the master of this space.”
“Isn’t this what you were hoping for?” Heavenly-Dragon asked back. “A relatively fair duel.”
“Let’s hope it’s fair.”
Before long, Qi Xia stopped at the entrance of a flesh-and-blood amusement park.
Heavenly-Dragon also stopped. It seemed the ‘burial ground’ had been chosen.
“How’s this place?” Qi Xia asked.
Heavenly-Dragon swept his gaze across the scene before him and discovered that within this amusement park were quite a few ‘green plants.’
However, the leaves of those green plants were all fingers or hair. They swayed on tree trunks made of bones, looking alive yet also as if they were about to die at any moment.
In the distance was a Ferris wheel made from enormous eyeballs, a roller coaster made from narrow spinal bones, and even farther away was a drop tower made from two gigantic leg bones.
Though called an amusement park, no matter how one looked at it, it was a scene from hell.
“What a terrifying sight, Baiyang.” Heavenly-Dragon laughed. “This is a dream that only a monster could imagine.”
“Do you know why I chose this place?” Qi Xia asked.
“Why?”
“This amusement park is useless now. Let’s tear it down. When I have time, I’ll build another one.”
“You’d better not be joking with me.”
The two of them successively walked into the amusement park. Qi Xia walked slowly toward the depths without looking back, while Heavenly-Dragon began to loosen up his muscles and bones.
Although Qi Xia appeared to have suffered quite a few injuries, Heavenly-Dragon knew his own condition wasn’t much better.
He was preparing to stake all of his remaining ‘conviction’ to fight Qi Xia to mutual destruction here.
At this moment, a person dressed as a clown ran over carrying a bunch of things that looked like long balloon strips. He silently raised his hand before Heavenly-Dragon and gestured something.
But he had no mouth, so he never made a sound.
This was also the first person who had seen him here since he last entered the dream.
“What is he saying?” Heavenly-Dragon asked.
“He’s asking if you want him to make you a little dog with long balloon strips.” Qi Xia walked ahead, answering without looking back.
Heavenly-Dragon looked down and saw that what the person held in his hands weren’t any long balloon strips, but rather sections of intestines.
“Sorry to trouble you.” Heavenly-Dragon said to the clown with a smile. “Use these intestines to make a tomb for the person ahead.”
After hearing this, the clown paused slightly, then hurriedly turned and ran away.
“What an interesting place, Baiyang…” Heavenly-Dragon said while looking at the clown’s retreating figure. “He ran over holding intestines, yet in the end was frightened into fleeing… Ha…”
“A clown came over with long balloon strips to find you, yet you said those were intestines.” Qi Xia asked. “Tell me… from their perspective, aren’t the two of us the ones who are insane?”
“So what are you trying to say?” Heavenly-Dragon asked. “Could it be that this is a normal world, and only you and I see everything as flesh and blood?”
“Who knows?” Qi Xia answered.
“You truly are insane enough.” Heavenly-Dragon said. “Every punch we throw here should cause damage to your psyche, making you even more insane. So are you ready?”
“Is that so?” Qi Xia stretched his muscles and bones. “I said this isn’t a dream… so it doesn’t matter.”
The two slowly stopped walking, stopping right at a small plaza in front of a carousel.
That carousel used bones to pierce through fragmented pieces of flesh and blood, clearly a series of moving meat horses.
“Heavenly-Dragon, I’ll ask you one last time.” Qi Xia said expressionlessly. “Do you want to know what ‘eternity’ is?”
“I don’t.”
“Good.” Qi Xia nodded. “Please lie down early. I still need to go home for dinner.”
After hearing this, Heavenly-Dragon’s expression gradually darkened: “In that case… then you shall die in this dream.”
As soon as the words fell, Heavenly-Dragon’s figure shot out explosively.
Qi Xia didn’t look back and continued walking forward. A massive flesh-and-blood wall instantly rose before Heavenly-Dragon, blocking his movements on the spot.
All the amusement facilities within the entire flesh-and-blood amusement park seemed to receive some kind of summons at this moment, and they all began to move as if electricity had been switched on.
