Chapter 990: Train Ready

Heavenly-Bull was just about to go out when the red light before her eyes was so blinding she couldn’t open them.

Although the door was closed, it felt as if something had barged in.

Azure Dragon’s expression darkened. He immediately turned his head to look and discovered that behind him, at the door to Heavenly-Dragon’s room, red light was similarly seeping out. Everyone seemed to be surrounded by this red light in the center.

“How could this be…”

“Who’s playing tricks…?” Heavenly-Bull shouted coldly and stepped forward to open the door.

Azure Dragon, with a terrified expression, transitioned over and used tremendous force to pull Heavenly-Bull back.

Heavenly-Bull still wanted to ask something, but this was the first time she had seen Azure Dragon show such an expression. She could only swallow the words at the tip of her tongue.

The many “Heavenly-level” individuals in the room seemed to all discover that the situation appeared rather ominous. They had stayed on the “train” for so long but had never seen such a scene.

This red light continuously seeped into the room, as if a great fire was burning outside the door.

They stood up one after another, clearly feeling that there was some kind of living thing behind both the front and back doors, as if clamoring yet also wailing.

Even though everyone present was “Heavenly-level,” they would still fear certain unknown things.

After a few seconds, Heavenly-Bull began rolling up her sleeves, revealing her muscular forearms.

Considering the worst… could it be that the “train” had been invaded?

It was understandable if the door leading to the “Earth-level” area was invaded from outside, but why were strange sounds also coming from inside Heavenly-Dragon’s room?

No one could open the door to Heavenly-Dragon’s room. Only Azure Dragon’s “Transition” could cross it. How could anyone invade Heavenly-Dragon’s room?

Azure Dragon didn’t answer. He only stared at that red light with wide eyes until all the red light disappeared completely a minute later. Only then did he slightly breathe a sigh of relief.

“How could this happen…” Azure Dragon changed from his previous manic appearance, and there was actually a trace of panic in his eyes.

He slightly extended his hand and placed it on the door handle. After a long time, he slowly opened the door a crack.

After confirming there was nothing outside the door, he fully opened it. Outside was still the familiar corridor.

There wasn’t a single person in the corridor.

“Bastard…” Azure Dragon’s expression gradually changed from panic to anger, as if he had been betrayed. “Heavenly-Dragon… you damn traitor…”

The many “Heavenly-level” individuals didn’t know what had happened and were now looking at each other in dismay.

Just a moment ago, it seemed the doors could lead to other locations, but what exactly had caused this?

“The ‘train’ actually moved…” Azure Dragon said through gritted teeth. “Heavenly-Dragon… you’ve been secretly manipulating things all along… you’ve been playing me for a fool…”

The many “Heavenly-level” individuals still didn’t understand what had happened when Azure Dragon directly disappeared on the spot.

Seeing this, Heavenly-Bull furrowed her brow. She could only stop paying attention to this madman and hurried toward the “cargo hold.”

In the next second, Azure Dragon appeared in Heavenly-Dragon’s room.

With a few flashes, he arrived before the sleeping Heavenly-Dragon, his expression filled with uncontrollable fury.

“The ‘train’ can actually be activated…?” Azure Dragon said angrily. “You prepared long ago? You’re planning to leave by yourself…?!”

Heavenly-Dragon lightly rested his cheek on his hand, breathing steadily.

“Bastard…”

Azure Dragon extended his hand to grab Heavenly-Dragon’s neck, and five finger marks instantly appeared on his own neck as well.

“I was still too merciful… I thought there was still a long time to figure out how to kill you…” Azure Dragon said with difficulty breathing. “But I never expected that you pretended to want to kill me when you actually wanted to ‘escape’…”

The more he tightened his grip on Heavenly-Dragon’s neck, the more difficult his own breathing became.

At this moment, Heavenly-Dragon also furrowed his brow.

“Aren’t you ‘Heavenly-Dragon’ also a ‘Zodiac’? Why can you ‘flee’? You don’t even follow the rules you yourself set…” Azure Dragon said through gritted teeth. “You even hid from me the fact that the ‘train’ is ready… you truly deserve to die…”

After a few seconds, Azure Dragon released his hand, and Heavenly-Dragon’s furrowed brow also relaxed.

Azure Dragon bent down to breathe for a moment, then said with a bitter smile: “You still refuse to tell me the method of controlling the ‘train’… so this is your trump card? You neither want to kill me nor want to rule this place again, but rather want to escape… ha… haha…”

Heavenly-Dragon slept quietly, but the more Azure Dragon looked at his expression, the more he felt he was mocking him.

“That’s right… escaping from here… then you won’t have to worry about any ‘Twin Flowers’…” Azure Dragon shook his head. “Fortunately… if it weren’t for all the ‘doors’ becoming turbulent this time… I really would have been deceived by you.”

After Azure Dragon finished speaking, he turned back to look at that large tree.

“It doesn’t matter… I really want to know which of us two is right… You’re going to the ‘New World,’ while I’ll create the ‘Old World.’ I still firmly believe that the root of everything is those ‘people’ who are like livestock.”

He calmed his emotions and once again walked to the door.

“We’ll see, Heavenly-Dragon. When you die, you must tell me… I don’t want to be buried with you… Our entangled life ends here…”

After being stopped by Earth-Dragon, Qi Xia fell silent for a few seconds, then finally wrote a name on the display screen that was within reason yet unexpected.

“Han Yimo.”

“Qi Xia…” Seeing this, Chu Tianqiu smiled lightly. “What’s the meaning of this…?”

“What?”

“‘Wen Qiaoyun’ is still outside,” Chu Tianqiu reminded. “Isn’t she within your choices?”

“‘Wen Qiaoyun’?” Qi Xia shrugged. “Do you hope I’ll pull her into the team?”

“It’s not that I hope so, but rather that you should do so,” Chu Tianqiu said. “If I want to know the gap between myself and you, I must let you grasp my weakness. Now ‘Yan Zhichun’ is already in my hands. It would be fairer if you took ‘Wen Qiaoyun.'”

“I think you’ve misunderstood something,” Qi Xia said. “‘Yan Zhichun’ is not my weakness. It doesn’t matter which team she’s on. As for ‘Wen Qiaoyun’…”

Qi Xia smiled lightly and said in a deep voice: “You hope I’ll use ‘Wen Qiaoyun’ as a shield, then force you to have no choice but to kill the person you love… how could there be such an ideal situation in this world?”

“What…”

“Being forced and being willing… the motivations obtained from these two starting points are completely different,” Qi Xia said. “Chu Tianqiu, we’ve already reached this point, and you’re still hoping I’ll help you… this truly disappoints me. Think carefully… how exactly should Wen Qiaoyun die.”

Chu Tianqiu slightly closed his eyes and took a deep breath, as if he both understood Qi Xia’s meaning and had made some kind of determination.

After a few seconds, he opened his eyes and asked: “Qi Xia, ‘Separation’ is already with me. Even if you take ‘Han Yimo,’ what can you do?”

“That’s the right state…” Qi Xia smiled when he heard this question. “But… you have ‘Separation,’ so why can’t I take ‘Han Yimo’?”

“I see…” Chu Tianqiu seemed to think of something. “What you want to use isn’t Han Yimo’s ‘Seven Black Swords,’ but rather ‘Inviting Disaster’… truly a bold idea.”

Qi Xia shrugged ambiguously and signaled for Earth-Dragon to open the door.
