Chapter 1855: Feng Clan Arc: A Risky Game

Everyone else was having a great time, but Yu Jingfeng himself wasn’t relaxed at all.

Sitting back down, he kept feeling as if a pair of eyes were watching him.

He glanced around, still searching for Leng Xuepiao.

What he didn’t know was that Leng Xuepiao was also laughing happily, and hadn’t taken the matter of him hugging another woman to heart at all.

More importantly, she hadn’t been staring at him the whole time.

That persistent feeling of being watched that Yu Jingfeng had was simply his own wishful imagination.

The woman who had set the challenge went over and spun the stake, and the game continued.

Soon, a woman jumped up.

“It’s me — it’s pointing at me.”

Those familiar with her recognized the voice at once — it was Xiao Tian.

The person across from Xiao Tian was one of the brothers.

Feeling everyone’s eyes on him, the brother cleared his throat and asked, “Truth or dare?”

The masked Xiao Tian thought for a moment and replied, “Truth.”

The brother was momentarily stumped, as if the question had caught him off guard.

“For the truth, what should I…” He looked left and right at the people beside him, “…ask?”

“Ask if she has someone she likes, or who she likes, something like that — up to you.” A voice from somewhere responded to the brother’s question.

The brother took a deep breath and raised his eyes to look at the woman across from him.

“Do you… have someone you like?”

“Right,” another woman’s voice chimed in. “Does she have someone she likes? Is that person here tonight?”

Xiao Tian glanced at the brother, then at the woman who had spoken, her small face turning bright red beneath her mask.

“Yes, I do.” After a moment, she nodded.

Xiao Tian’s gaze locked onto a certain man, and she pressed her lips together lightly. “He’s here — we’re playing this game together right now.”

“Hey! Is that girl looking at you?” The man beside Long Qi nudged him with his elbow.

“Aren’t you lucky? Some girl actually has her eye on you.”

Long Qi looked at Xiao Tian and frowned. “Who? No one’s come forward — is she really looking at me?”

Xiao Tian, the moment Long Qi looked her way, instinctively looked elsewhere.

“That’s my answer — let’s move on to the next round.”

Seeing that the girl wasn’t looking at him, Long Qi turned his head and glanced at the person beside him.

“It’s not me — how could any girl possibly like me? If it were really true, that’d be great.”

“It is you — she’s clearly looking at you,” the brother said with certainty.

After sitting back down, Xiao Tian sneaked another glance at Long Qi.

She wanted so badly to say — it’s him! It’s him!

But she couldn’t bring herself to say it out loud.

Xiao Tian had spent the entire evening waiting for Long Qi’s attention, and even when he had his mask on, she had hidden nearby, sneaking glances at him — she definitely knew which one was Long Qi.

As the teasing over this died down, the man who had asked the question went over and spun the stake.

The place fell quiet again, everyone’s eyes following the spinning stake.

“My turn.” The third person to stand up was also one of the brothers.

He was tall and imposing; judging from the outline of his face, one could imagine he must be quite handsome.

“I’ll choose dare!”

Before anyone else could even ask, he’d already made his choice.

He looked at the man and woman across from him and asked, “Which one of you is asking? What do you want me to do? I’m willing to do anything!”

Such a blunt statement let everyone guess exactly what was on his mind.

Was he hoping to find a girl to hug? Probably — every single man there hoped he might get lucky.

As soon as the brother’s words left his mouth, all the other brothers in the room started teasing him.

Everyone’s cheering stopped the moment a man stood up.

All eyes turned to the man about to ask the question, curiosity written across their faces.

“Go ahead!” the lucky brother said, waving a hand, quite generous. “Whatever you say, I can do it.”

“Alright.” The corner of the man’s mouth across from him curved slightly.

He wasn’t wearing a full mask, only one covering the upper half of his face, leaving a handsome set of lips visible.

“I choose…” the man spoke, “…pick one of the brothers, and kiss him on the lips.”

“Huh? Hahahahaha…” Everyone froze for a second before bursting into laughter.

“There’s a move like that in this game? This is way too much fun!”

“I never thought you could pick a guy!”

“Well, that’s a real loss — here I was hoping to pick a girl, feeling all pleased with myself!”

“Hahaha… I’m dying laughing, you said you’d do anything, hurry up and pick!”

“This game’s got risks — watch what you say!”

“Hey, you there! Aren’t you going to pick? Hurry up! The game needs to keep going.”

The lucky one stared at the questioner for a long moment before it finally sank in.

“What kind of ‘lucky’ is this?” he muttered a curse under his breath, lifting his long legs.

In an instant, the men who had just been teasing him fell silent all at once.

To have to hug and kiss a man — they were all right there, available, any one of them could be chosen.

And if picked, there’d be no refusing — no thank you!

The brighter their smiles had been a moment ago, the graver the men’s expressions became now.

The lucky one deliberately slowed his pace, passing by the people near him, circling through the crowd.

Every time he passed in front of a man, that man couldn’t help but let out a breath of relief.

Even though many people didn’t currently know who was who, if he really ended up kissed by a man and it got out later, how would he ever face anyone again?

Suddenly, the smile on one man’s face froze.

The questioning man looked at the lucky one, who had stopped in front of him, taller and more imposing than himself, and drew in a sharp breath.

“Hey, who are you? What’s the meaning of this? Hey, hey, hey…”

No matter how the questioning man resisted, the lucky one lunged forward, pinned his head, and kissed him.

Fortunately, the lucky one’s mask covered his whole face, so there was a mask between their two sets of lips.

But the questioning man had, quite genuinely, been kissed — kissed by another man.

“Ptooey, ptooey…” The questioning man could only watch, on the verge of tears, as the lucky one walked away, wiping his mouth the entire time.

Ohh… he’d even been kissed by women before, and now today he’d been kissed by a man too — ohh, this was too much to bear!

The woman beside him, seeing the man looking so pitiful, pulled out a handkerchief and handed it to him. “Here.”

The man took the handkerchief and wiped his mouth vigorously. “Thanks, thank you.”

“You’re welcome.” The woman shook her head.

The man looked down at the handkerchief in his hand and said quietly, “Sorry! I got it dirty.”

“I’ll wash it and give it back to you.”

“It’s fine.” The woman shook her head again and looked away.

As the lucky one returned to his seat, looking pleased with himself, everyone’s attention turned to the man holding the handkerchief.

“Your turn to spin the stake,” a woman reminded him.

“Still savoring the moment, are you?” a man from some corner teased.

“You’re the one savoring it!” The questioner glanced toward the direction of the voice, then looked away.

“Actually, we didn’t even really touch — his mask was in the way.”

For some reason, he suddenly worried the woman beside him might misunderstand.

The woman who had given him the handkerchief looked at him, her eyes curving slightly.

“I know. Go on, then.”

“Alright.” The questioning man finally let out a breath of relief, stood up, and walked out.

The stake spun again, and the game continued.
