Chapter 1746: The Holy Body of This Age

Ye Fan tore the Great Accomplishment Tyrant Body asunder, splitting it in two. Bathed in the tyrant blood of the heavens, he stood like a demon god beneath the starry sky, his invincible dominance laid bare for all to see.

Blood sprayed in all directions as violet energy billowed upward. The two severed halves of the body exploded apart, then reassembled themselves back together.

A supreme being was difficult to kill โ€” especially one of this caliber. It was impossible to fell such a person in a single strike, and the Great Accomplishment Tyrant Body’s primordial spirit had escaped the blow just moments ago, having not been struck directly. Only the physical body had taken damage.

The great battle raged on. Time continued to flow as the three of them shattered the heavens, crossing from one domain into another, fighting until the sun and moon lost their light and the rivers of stars grew dim.

Blood streamed without cease. Both Great Accomplishment Tyrant Bodies had long since sustained grievous wounds, their blood splashing across the vast sky and scattering among the stars. Ye Fan fought with wild abandon, pursuing them relentlessly from behind.

This was a battle of life and death. If he failed to eliminate these two today, they would become a tremendous calamity in the future. Though Ye Fan himself feared nothing, his family and friends would certainly be in danger.

And so his eyes blazed like golden lanterns as he cleaved through the cosmos, locking onto the two of them without pause, pressing his assault without relent.

Having fought to this point, he had already seized an absolute advantage โ€” sweeping all before him like a force of nature, advancing with overwhelming momentum. Neither of the two supreme beings could match him, and they fled continuously.

It was a staggering sight. These were two undefeatable overlords, and yet now they were no match, fleeing for their very lives. How could anyone not be shaken?

The battle had gone on for a very long time, yet people still felt it had ended too quickly. Two Great Accomplishment Tyrant Bodies, capable of subjugating the entire cosmos โ€” how could they be in such a sorry state, defeated so swiftly?

In ages past, whenever they had emerged into the world, rivers of blood and mountains of corpses had been their signature. No one could oppose them; throughout all of history, few had ever been their equal. And yet today they were in such dire straits โ€” covered in blood, hunted without mercy by a single young powerhouse.

“Is this what it means to defy the heavens? A Great Accomplishment Holy Body at six or seven hundred years of age โ€” how long a reign will he hold over the future?”

“This young, and already capable of hunting ancient supreme beings. Given time to slowly consolidate his power, what heights will he eventually reach?”

Everyone was stunned. Ye Fan’s strength had surpassed all expectations.

From ancient times to the present, prodigies had never been rare โ€” yet many had perished along the path of growth. Those who advanced triumphantly without pause and achieved invincibility in the shortest span of time were truly few and far between.

Ye Fan continued his relentless pursuit, chasing the supreme beings forward. From time to time, blossoms of blood bloomed across the rivers of stars. The Great Accomplishment Tyrant Bodies were facing catastrophe, and even fighting together they could not hold on.

Time flew by. At last the most critical moment arrived. Both men were critically wounded and on the verge of death. They could not afford to drag this out โ€” their life blood was nowhere near as abundant as Ye Fan’s.

They exchanged a glance and let out a long sigh. Their era was gone. They truly were no match for him, and given a little more time, death was certain.

In the end, the two transformed into two streams of immortal light and shot off in separate directions, for staying together was now useless โ€” unable to overcome their opponent, splitting up and fleeing separately was the only option.

Ye Fan let out a thunderous roar. From within his heavenly spirit, the Cauldron of Myriad Mother Energies surged upward. His divine manifestation transformed into the form of the Celestial Emperor, flying forth and carrying the cauldron in pursuit of one of them.

As for Ye Fan himself, he gave chase to the other with full power, intending to end it swiftly.

Boom!

The crowd witnessed the final desperate struggle of Kuntu, one of the Great Accomplishment Tyrant Bodies. An enormous hand swept out across this stretch of stars, enveloping every star cluster beneath it.

With a thunderous clash โ€” like surging waves striking a shore โ€” every star either exploded into fragments or was swept away like ocean swells into the far distance, leaving this region an absolute vacuum.

The great halberd of Kuntu shattered. His entire body exploded apart, unable to withstand that supremely powerful strike. He attempted to reassemble his tyrant blood true form, but Ye Fan gave him no chance. A great hand reached out and seized him back.

Crack!

Even as Kuntu self-detonated, Ye Fan’s two hands remained like golden millstones, slowly closing together, grinding him to pulp dozens of times over โ€” while Ye Fan himself remained indestructible.

At last, the primordial spirit of the Great Accomplishment Tyrant Body Kuntu crumbled and scattered. His flesh and blood turned to ash. He could no longer revive. He was utterly destroyed.

The crowd was shaken. All those who had witnessed this scene through formation arrays and divine eyes felt a chill run through their bodies. A battle of this magnitude was beyond anything they had dared imagine.

Ye Fan did not linger. A blazing flash of light streaked past, and he vanished from where he stood. He still had the other one to deal with.

It had to be said โ€” his divine manifestation had inexhaustible wondrous uses. Even after being split off for so long since it took the form of the Celestial Emperor, it had not dissipated, and it pressed forward with the Cauldron of Myriad Mother Energies, killing the one before it.

Blood of tyranny sprayed through the air, announcing the lament of an end that could not be escaped. That one knew he was going to die โ€” he could not shake off the pursuit. What chance of survival would remain once Ye Fan’s true body arrived?

And so it came to pass. Ye Fan’s true body arrived and personally drove the cauldron, drawing him inside to be refined.

In the end, a spray of ash drifted outward โ€” and along with it fell a single blood elixir, the essence of a Great Accomplishment Tyrant Body’s bloodline, condensed into a divine pill.

Of course, this precious pill was not as extraordinary as one might imagine, for the Great Accomplishment Tyrant Body had been near death, his lifespan long since exhausted, leaving only a small amount of essence remaining.

With this battle concluded, Ye Fan used a terrifying record of victory to announce to the world that he had claimed a place among the supreme beings of the realm โ€” invincible in this age.

The two Tyrant Body patriarchs had fallen. This battle was over. Yet the cosmic sea was far from quiet โ€” everywhere, voices rang out in heated discussion, erupting into a complete uproar.

Beneath the cold and clear night sky, everything felt desolate.

The invincibility of the supreme beings had been overturned. A later-generation powerhouse had trampled all of their glory underfoot. Ye Fan had won โ€” yet he did not move, remaining where he stood for a very long time.

In days to come, would someone challenge him as well?

He had slain supreme beings today; in the future, someone might come to battle him. Just as that Great Accomplishment Holy Body at the Sacred Cliff โ€” in the prime of his bloodfire, how invincible and glorious he had been โ€” yet in his twilight years, he had been struck down, his blood staining the cliff face.

But this was not the time for deep reflection. He strode through the cosmic expanse, heading toward the Tyrant Body Ancestral Star, descending upon it once more.

The entire planet was filled with the sound of wailing. Many powerhouses wept in grief โ€” their spiritual pillars had collapsed. Even their invincible ancient patriarch had fallen in battle. What was left to fight with?

They had cultivated to the absolute pinnacle; the strongest among them were no more than Great Accomplishment Tyrant Bodies โ€” and still they were no match. A being of that caliber had died at Ye Fan’s hands. The belief in their hearts had crumbled.

On the Tyrant Body Ancestral Star, their spiritual world shattered into four pieces, struck by a devastating blow.

Ye Fan stood upon a cliff face. Though his eyes were cold and ruthless, he had no thought of completely destroying this place. His powerful divine sense spread outward, and in an instant, dozens of important figures on this star exploded, turned into blood mist, their body and soul both obliterated.

Everyone trembled. In that moment, they all shook โ€” as if a great emperor had taken up his position in the starry sky, gazing down at them from above. Every single one of them fell to their knees, unable to endure such pressure.

At last, Ye Fan departed, entering the cosmic expanse.

“He is so powerful โ€” few can restrain him now, unless we each push ourselves to the absolute limit.”

“We were careless. Who could have imagined that an insignificant ant could survive two great tribulations in succession, soaring in a single bound to become a young dragon?”

In the Forbidden Zones of the Northern Dipper, voices sighed. Under ordinary circumstances they paid no attention to the outside world, but an event of this magnitude had caused every one of them to furrow their brows.

Ye Fan’s slaughter of the Tyrant Bodies had sounded an alarm bell for them. The mortal world was no longer entirely under their dominion โ€” another variable had appeared.

At this moment, the Heavenly Court was in an uproar. War drums thundered, great banners snapped in the wind, and the place was extraordinarily lively. Wave after wave of great armies arrived, rebuilding the Heavenly Court.

Ye Fan had survived his tribulation and slaughtered every supreme being of the Tyrant Blood lineage. His might and prestige was unparalleled, and this naturally drove the Heavenly Court’s influence to tremendous heights. It shone in extraordinary splendor โ€” great banners unfurling, every battle division returning to the fold.

“Master!” Huahua shouted out.

In the sky, a golden river of light came soaring down, forming a divine pathway of brilliant light that led straight to the Heavenly Court. Ye Fan descended along it.

“Father…” Xiao Zi reached out her small arms, tottering through the void as she made her way skyward โ€” she could fly now.

The Black Emperor, Dongfang Ye, Li Heishui, Li Tian, and all the others rushed forward. Every single one of them was overcome with excitement. It was only now, at this moment, that the Heavenly Court could truly be said to fear no power from any quarter โ€” truly beginning its ascent toward the most glorious of heights.

With a Great Accomplishment Holy Body presiding over it, even a conflict with the Forbidden Zones held no fear. They could challenge anyone.

“Our brothers have suffered.” Ye Fan spoke with deep feeling, looking out at the celestial soldiers and generals of every division. Though a few contingents had been lost, the great majority were unharmed.

“We have not suffered. What is this compared to anything? We only regret that we could not go to the battle ourselves. Now at last we can emerge into the world!” The crowd cried out in their excitement.

The voices of the crowd filled the air as everyone worked themselves into a frenzy.

Ye Fan’s own emotions were stirred. He was greatly pleased. He carefully restrained his aura, not releasing even the slightest trace outward โ€” for if he had, no one present would have been able to endure it.

The Heavenly Court held a grand banquet. Drums and music shook the heavens, and every great power came to pay their respects โ€” whether it was the Dao Palace, the divine organization, or the great powerful clans throughout the cosmos. All of them sent their foremost figures to offer their congratulations.

Barring some unforeseen calamity, so long as Ye Fan did not fall, he would reign supreme over the cosmos for the next ten thousand years โ€” every great clan would have to prostrate themselves at his feet.

A Great Accomplishment Holy Body โ€” appearing in this age โ€” was simply beyond opposing.

“This day has finally come.” Many people sighed with emotion, though the meaning behind those words differed greatly from person to person.

Some felt joy. Some felt fear. Some felt agitation. Some felt unease. The various clans of the cosmos each reacted differently. A Great Accomplishment Holy Body descending to reign over the world โ€” the implications were immense.

From this day forward, wherever the Heavenly Court marched, none under heaven dared refuse to obey. No opposing force remained. A glorious, undying divine dynasty had officially risen, suppressing all ten directions of the cosmos.

Everyone assumed Ye Fan would enter seclusion โ€” to stabilize his Dao fruits, and that he would not make another move for some time. After all, he had just slaughtered every Great Accomplishment Tyrant Body, which was already more than sufficient to establish his authority. No Forbidden Zone would dare act recklessly; each of them would have to consider the brutal consequences of open conflict.

Yet the result confounded everyone’s expectations.

A few days later, Ye Fan bid farewell to his wife and daughter, parted from his friends, and set out on the road once more. This time, his destination was clearly the Northern Dipper. He marched with the Cauldron of Myriad Mother Energies floating above his head, his killing intent undisguised โ€” this was a campaign of conquest.

Everyone was stunned. What was he trying to do? Was he truly going to sweep through the Forbidden Zones one by one, wiping them all out?

That seemed impossible. Throughout all of history, not one of the great emperors of antiquity had ever managed it โ€” because if the inhabitants of the Forbidden Zones were truly pushed to the brink, they would push themselves to the absolute limit of self-sublimation. At that point, perfect Imperial Dao powerhouses would emerge together, and even a descending immortal could not stop them.

And yet Ye Fan truly came. His true body descended upon the Northern Dipper star region, arriving at that land so familiar to him, his gaze sweeping across the Seven Great Forbidden Zones of Life.
