Chapter 1146: Organ Rolling

Bai Jiu was slightly stunned when she saw this scene, but she quickly suppressed her surprised expression.

She then smiled at Jiang Shi and asked, “Little Jiang Shi… do you feel uncomfortable at all?”

“Me…?” Jiang Shi paused for a moment, then lightly sniffed, “No… why do you ask?”

Bai Jiu looked at Jiang Shi’s eyes. Although her heart was filled with doubt, she was worried that directly speaking about such a bizarre situation would frighten Jiang Shi, so she didn’t rashly open her mouth.

His eyes… could they be starting to recover?

Bai Jiu stared at Jiang Shi’s eyes again and discovered that Jiang Shi’s own eyes were pitch black, while the other pupil that had just appeared carried a faint brown color.

Not only were the two pupils different colors, but on the same person’s face, each had its own movement trajectory, so they were clearly not eyes from the same person.

Bai Jiu remained composed on the surface, but her back went cold. She felt as if there was another person inside Jiang Shi’s body, and that person was currently using their own eyes to peer outward.

That eye was filled with terror, confusion, and incomprehension, forming a stark contrast with Jiang Shi’s own eyes, which showed pain, exhaustion, and sorrow.

This indescribable situation made Bai Jiu’s heart fill with panic. She could no longer control her expression, and Jiang Shi finally detected something unusual.

“Jiu Jie… what’s wrong with my left eye?” Jiang Shi paused. “Your expression is…”

Bai Jiu didn’t want to answer this question. Her expression gradually shifted from panic to helplessness.

No matter who this person inside Jiang Shi’s body was, they shouldn’t be disturbing Jiang Shi’s peace when he was about to die soon.

That eyeball rotated for quite a while, its gaze settling on Bai Jiu, then it widened.

“Little Jiang Shi… I need to tell you something, but you don’t need to be afraid…”

After the eye came the nose, and after the nose came the mouth, like the rolling patterns on a slot machine, switching from top to bottom in succession.

When the image settled, Jiang Shi’s face now had an eye on one side and a mouth on the other—one eye and two mouths on his small face, creating an indescribably horrifying sight.

Bai Jiu also raised her hand to cover her own mouth at this moment.

“Jiu Jie!!”

A familiar voice came from somewhere ethereal. When Bai Jiu looked carefully, it was actually the mouth on Jiang Shi’s eye socket that had spoken.

Jiang Shi was also startled by this voice, because he couldn’t determine the location of this bizarre voice. It seemed to come from all directions, yet also seemed to come solely from deep within his own brain.

“Who… who’s speaking?” Jiang Shi instantly became much more alert, looking around in terror.

But Bai Jiu just quietly cupped Jiang Shi’s cheeks, her expression filled with disbelief.

“This voice… Xiao Shiliu?” she asked.

“What Xiao Shiliu…?” Jiang Shi felt even more confused. “Where is there any Xiao Shiliu?”

“Jiu Jie!! I thought I was seeing things—it’s really you!” Qiu Shiliu’s voice continued to emerge from the ethereal space.

“What on earth is going on, Xiao Shiliu…?” Bai Jiu didn’t feel reassured just because the other party was one of their own; instead, she appeared even more confused.

“Who’s speaking?” Jiang Shi murmured. “Where is there any Xiao Shiliu?”

“I haven’t even asked you yet, Jiu Jie—how are you all inside Xuanwu’s body? Who was the person talking to you just now? Was it Shi Ge?”

“Wait…” Bai Jiu felt the situation seemed different from what she had thought. “You said we’re… inside Xuanwu’s body?”

“Yes…” Qiu Shiliu’s voice drifted out. “You’re in the space inside Xuanwu’s body…”

After hearing this, Bai Jiu turned her head to look at the distant battlefield. A group of people were surrounding Xuanwu, but neither these people nor Xuanwu made any moves.

Xuanwu just kept his head lowered, staring at his own chest, while all the “Cat” members around him maintained a tense atmosphere, but no one attacked.

“That’s not right… Shiliu.” Bai Jiu shook her head. “If we must put it that way, it should be that only you are inside Xuanwu’s body… We’re all outside…”

“Where exactly is Shiliu…” Jiang Shi felt himself getting a bit confused.

“What…” Qiu Shiliu was stunned after hearing this. The organs on Jiang Shi’s face rolled again, finally settling as an eye. “Only me?”

That eye looked around at the outside situation, quickly becoming puzzled.

She moved the eye away and once again placed her mouth at the opening. From Bai Jiu’s perspective, Jiang Shi’s left eye kept alternating between being an eye and being a mouth.

“What the hell is going on? I saw you all through a point of light from inside Xuanwu’s body…”

“You saw us through a point of light…?”

“Jiu Jie… what is this point of light?”

“I don’t know… what does it look like from your perspective?”

“It’s just a coin-sized hole…” Qiu Shiliu said. “But from where are you seeing me?”

“I’m seeing you from… Little Jiang Shi’s eye,” Bai Jiu answered truthfully. “You look now… as if you’re inside Little Jiang Shi’s body… Your eye has also emerged from his eye socket.”

“What?” Jiang Shi and Qiu Shiliu were both stunned simultaneously.

After several seconds, Qiu Shiliu finally spoke: “Jiu Jie… I’m clearly inside Xuanwu’s body, so how did I end up inside Shi Ge’s body…”

Bai Jiu reached out to fiddle with her twin tails. As one of “Cat’s” famous strategists, although she couldn’t help with combat, she could do her best to think through this bizarre situation here. This was clearly related to Xuanwu’s ultimate secret.

“Looking at it this way… this can only mean that the two people’s ‘Immortality’ has connected to the same space,” Bai Jiu said. “If you think about it, it’s not really hard to understand… It’s just that the chance of gathering two ‘Immortality’ abilities is too rare…”

“No, Jiu Jie, it seems to be more than just two Immortality abilities…”

Qiu Shiliu knew that after encountering Bai Jiu, she could save herself the mental effort, so she simply poured out everything she had seen, including the infinitely many doors here—strange and varied in shape but leading to different spaces.

Then she outlined her theory of “people don’t move, space moves,” as well as how she had arrived in front of this strange point of light.

Numerous abstract concepts instantly flooded into Bai Jiu’s mind, also giving Jiang Shi a general understanding of the current situation.

“Jiu Jie… in your opinion, what should I do now…?”

Bai Jiu frowned in thought for a long while and reached an abstract conclusion.

The space inside Xuanwu’s body seemed to drift outside of all spaces, except that “Immortality” happened to possess the key to enter this space.

“Shiliu… your battle tactics earlier had a slight flaw. Listen to my arrangement from now on.” Bai Jiu stared seriously at Jiang Shi’s eye and said.
