Chapter 1283: The Clever Object Squad

In a flash, Qinglong saw a fist flying toward his face.

He steadied himself and immediately raised his hand in front of himself.

But just as the fist was about to strike his palm, it suddenly changed direction. Qinglong focused his gaze and saw Qiao Jiajin stomp the ground fiercely with his foot, leaping into the air. In mid-air, he alternated his left and right hands, switching fists to strike.

Qinglong narrowed his eyes and retreated backward, causing Qiao Jiajin’s several heavy punches to miss their target.

Qiao Jiajin braced both hands on the ground to land, rolled once on the ground, then unleashed a sweeping leg kick. Qinglong hadn’t anticipated the opponent’s attack method for a moment and was knocked down from the ground. Then he braced both hands on the ground and kicked fiercely at Qiao Jiajin before landing.

Qiao Jiajin blocked Qinglong’s leg with one hand while simultaneously launching a side kick with his own leg.

The two’s brief exchange also produced tremendous reverberations, and they both retreated several steps again.

Qiao Jiajin chuckled lightly. “Little green guy, you really do have some skills.”

After steadying himself, Qinglong rubbed his wrist. He felt that regardless of how this battle ended, his abilities would rise to another level.

These two people clearly weren’t ordinary—one emphasized strength, the other emphasized technique. Combined with the existence of “Breaking Ten Thousand Laws” and “Heaven’s Vigorous Movement,” perhaps this was the final step to becoming the only true god here.

“Interesting…” Qinglong paused. “How about you two come at me together? Let me see exactly how far the strongest fighting force in all of ‘Taoyuan’ can push me.”

“Oh?” Zhang Shan paused after hearing this. “Those are your own words.”

“Yes,” Qinglong nodded. “If you two can’t do anything to me, then I am the strongest in ‘Taoyuan,’ and the day of my defeat will never exist.”

“Big guy, you heard that too,” Qiao Jiajin said. “I’ve always been outnumbered, but this time it’s the opponent who took the initiative to suggest it.”

The two exchanged glances, then walked forward with imposing momentum.

At this moment, in the corridor outside the “train car head” door, three figures had quietly made their way here.

The arrivals were none other than Yun Yao, Zhang Chenze, and Tiantian.

Zhang Chenze’s expression appeared exceptionally anxious. She looked at Yun Yao and said, “Yun Yao, is your ‘Strong Luck’ really activated?”

“Why do you ask?” Yun Yao asked in return.

“I’m sorry, what I’m about to say might make you uncomfortable, but I must state this fact.” Zhang Chenze adjusted her glasses. “We only had two directions, forward and backward, yet your ‘Strong Luck’ led us in the opposite direction, wasting so much time before finally arriving here. This forces me to raise this question. If I can’t confirm that your ‘Strong Luck’ truly exists, I can’t bring Tiantian with you to push open this door.”

“Don’t worry, the ‘luck’ is very strong,” Yun Yao paused and said. “Wasting so much time only means that the ‘luck’ determined we couldn’t come here earlier. Only now is the best timing.”

Zhang Chenze sighed, not knowing how to evaluate this. After all, she didn’t understand “Strong Luck” and didn’t know how large its control range was. Could it even grasp the timing of an event?

“So just how suitable is the timing right now…?” Zhang Chenze asked somewhat probingly. “I’ve heard there are many ‘Heaven Level’ members and Qinglong himself in this room…”

“Maybe they’ve all inexplicably disappeared without a trace,” Yun Yao smiled lightly.

“Is that possible…?” Zhang Chenze paused. She could faintly hear many fighting sounds and footsteps coming from nearby.

Everyone here was busy in complete chaos, but what were the chances that the “train car head,” serving as the command center, had no one at all?

“Wait…” Chu Tianqiu’s voice came from not far away.

Several people looked toward the sound and saw Chu Tianqiu pick up a blood-stained pen from the ground, then walk toward them with a worried expression.

“Tianqiu…?” Yun Yao’s expression was still somewhat complicated when facing Chu Tianqiu, but at this critical juncture, all past matters had already dissipated into smoke.

“You’re going to enter this room…?” Chu Tianqiu asked.

“Yes.” After speaking, Yun Yao’s gaze swept past Chu Tianqiu’s shoulder to look at the several “Heaven’s Mouth” members behind him. “They…”

Chu Tianqiu didn’t answer Yun Yao’s question, only shaking his head. “It’s very dangerous inside the room. Qinglong, Zhang Shan, and Qiao Jiajin are all in there. They might be in a death struggle right now.”

“But the ‘luck’ wants me to come,” Yun Yao said. “You understand my ‘luck’—it doesn’t lie.”

“The ‘luck’ wants you to enter the door now…?” Chu Tianqiu said with a frown.

“Yes.”

Chu Tianqiu felt something seemed a bit strange about this matter. “What is your objective?”

Zhang Chenze stepped forward and in a few words told Chu Tianqiu about the task Qi Xia had arranged. She said they needed to find the “door” leading to Heavenly-Dragon’s room, then have Tiantian use clever objects to create an identical replica.

Chu Tianqiu paused, breaking down and reconstructing this task in his mind.

Although the task didn’t mention himself, he always felt he was also a link in this task, since he was also someone who needed to pass through that door.

Qi Xia still hadn’t appeared here, indicating this path wasn’t his final choice. He was now hiding in a safe location, quietly waiting for the door to appear before his eyes.

“I see… I’ll go with you,” Chu Tianqiu said after much thought. “We shouldn’t encounter any danger. I believe in Yun Yao’s ‘luck.'”

Yun Yao pondered for a while and nodded.

Seeing that Chu Tianqiu was also so insistent, Zhang Chenze could only stop objecting. The four of them pushed open the door before them right there.

The scene inside made Zhang Chenze have to believe in the existence of “luck.”

Inside the room was only a round table with something resembling a human head placed on it. Apart from that, there wasn’t even a single person.

Chu Tianqiu looked around the room with furrowed brows, his gaze quickly settling on another door in the distance.

Distant fighting sounds seemed to be coming from inside that door. Could it be that Zhang Shan and Qiao Jiajin had killed their way directly to Heavenly-Dragon’s room right in front of Qinglong…?

“It’s this door, right?”

Tiantian walked forward a few steps and stopped in front of that strange door. Just as she was about to reach out to feel the door’s material, Zhang Chenze stopped her.

“Wait…” Zhang Chenze looked coldly at that door, her mind associating many unrelated things.

“What…?” Tiantian asked.

“Tiantian… is there a way to figure out the door’s structure without touching it?” Zhang Chenze recalled in her mind the scenes she had experienced during the “Cangjie Chess” game.

This door before them might only lead to Heavenly-Dragon when Qinglong pushed it open. Once Tiantian reached out to touch it, it would only lead to some other bizarre space.

Even if they could create an identical door, it wouldn’t necessarily serve its purpose.

“Without touching it… how can I determine its material…?” Tiantian said somewhat uncertainly.

Chu Tianqiu thought for a moment and handed her the pen in his hand. “How about trying this?”
