Synopsis:
“Yu Jiuqi, how long have we known each other?” Every time Lao Duan, who drives a delivery truck, returns from work, the first thing he does is not go home, but instead, he heads straight to a bathhouse located in the city center, weary from his long journey. He’s been coming here for over twenty years. Over time, he’s seen the owner’s last name change from Wen to Yu, the shop expand from one floor to three, and the name change from “Lao Wen Bathhouse” to “Wendu Shuihui,” yet he still refers to it as the bathhouse. On weekdays, when there aren’t too many people around, Lao Duan takes a shower as usual and then soaks in the 40-degree Celsius hot pool.

“It’s been almost twenty years, hasn’t it?”

“Twenty years, and how many times have you dumped me since then? Even if I’m unworthy, you’ve been too harsh.”
