Shen Mo came running over, took out the nearby creatures with a few shots, and pulled Bai Youwei tight into his arms!

No one knew what was going through Bai Youwei’s mind — she just ducked her head, twisted her body, and slipped out of Shen Mo’s embrace like a little fish. Running as she called out: “Hurry, follow me!”

He’d only caught hold of one braid — the tips slipped through his palm. He stood there for a moment, then quickly went after her.

With the main attacker gone, their firepower dropped sharply. The remaining members had no other choice but to keep dealing with the relentless stream of creatures while hurrying to catch up with those two!

The commentator’s voice cut off momentarily.

Bai Youwei led the team weaving through the parking garage in circles. Spotting a gap in one of the stairwell corridors, she immediately charged in!

Commentator: 【Ah… I see now. Although the corridor has a continuous stream of creatures, they’re all coming down from the upper floors. If they escape down to the second basement level, there might actually be a slim chance of survival. But — can they truly shake off the frenzied monsters behind them? Is this a way out, or… another dead end?】

The group ran to the second basement level and together heaved the metal fire door shut!

The pursuing creatures slammed heavily into the door — a tremendous clang, the metal door rattling violently! The monsters seemed like they could burst through at any moment!

“Over here!” Bai Youwei grabbed Shen Mo’s hand and pointed to a van.

Shen Mo understood her intent. He raised his weapon — bang bang bang — shot out the glass, reached through the window, unlocked the door. The five of them piled inside quickly, then slammed the door shut!

Almost simultaneously, the stairwell door exploded open like a burst water main, disgorging an endless stream of deformed beasts! They screeched and ran, searching the pitch-black underground garage for the intruders!

Several creatures smashed into the van. Some leapt over the roof. Bumped vehicles beeped and wailed their alarms — a cacophony, utter chaos. And yet — mercifully —

They hadn’t been found.
