[Why use a stun baton???]

[Yeah, why a stun baton? Don’t you have a gun? And there are explosives — why not use those?]

That type of baton uses a high-voltage generator and rechargeable battery to produce 40,000 volts or more of electric shock, which can cause temporary numbness and instantaneous loss of mobility. BUT — even though the voltage is high, the actual current passing through the body is very small, so it doesn’t cause serious harm to humans. If it can’t even hurt a person, what’s it going to do to the Demon God? The Demon God’s size has already surpassed a prehistoric mammoth. The idea of using a stun baton on it is absolutely impossible!]

She drew a breath, raising her voice even higher: “Two and a half!”

Nik nearly fainted on the spot!

Nik didn’t catch what the second half of that last sentence meant — but he found that the Demon God before him had erupted into a howl again!

Where did the fire come from?

He hadn’t seen Bai Youwei set anything on fire!

The Demon God’s entire body became a sea of spreading flames, and very quickly it burned into one enormous fireball!

The fur blazed, the ropes blazed. It howled and roared, slamming wildly into the four walls in a frenzy — desperate to beat out the flames on its own body!

Bai Youwei hadn’t made it safely through the stone door yet. Seeing the enormous fireball barreling toward her, she let out a terrified scream and swung the stun baton in her hand with all her strength!

Bang!!!

A massive blue-violet arc of electricity flashed — like a thunderbolt — and sent the fireball flying!
