My Boss

Original Title: 你也有今天

Male Lead: Chen Xing Xu
Female Lead: Zhang Ruo Nan

Synopsis:

Qian Heng is handsome, distinguished, and exceptionally capable. Beneath that impressive exterior, however, he is sharp-tongued, excessively particular, and completely devoid of human warmth.

Cheng Yao had absolutely no doubt that if having an inflated sense of self were a crime, then, judging by the severity of Qian Heng’s self-admiration, he would at the very least be sentenced to life imprisonment.

“Don’t think that attending this matchmaking event means anything, Cheng Yao. Keep yourself under control. I’m a committed non-marriage person. Don’t entertain any wishful thinking.”

“I know I’m outstanding and dazzling too, Cheng Yao, but you wanting to be with me is impossible. So give up on that idea.”

“Although it’s just a man and a woman alone together in the same room, and I understand that being faced with someone like me might occasionally cause you to lose your senses and act impulsively, please exercise some restraint.”

Later, Cheng Yao discovered that Qian Heng was sometimes like a pufferfish. Although he was highly poisonous on the inside, once he puffed himself up into a round little ball, he wasn’t frightening at all. In fact, he was kind of adorable.

“Cheng Yao, I told you before: if you want to cry, you have to submit an application to me. You can cry only after I approve it. If you dare cry behind my back, I’ll deduct your entire year-end bonus.”

“Cheng Yao, you can trust me. Whenever you encounter a situation like this, I will protect you.”

“You want to be passionately pursued? Consider that wish granted. You want to receive roses? Consider that wish granted. Every wish you have—I can fulfill them all.”
