After defeating several formidable opponents, Zhan Zhao realized that the poison in his system was beyond healing. He entrusted the crucial evidence to Huo Linglong and held off his pursuers to ensure her escape, sacrificing his safety in the process.

The adversaries threatened the lives of innocent civilians, and in a desperate bid to save them, Zhan Zhao ultimately fell into their trap. Soon after, Huo Linglong was pursued by her betrothed, Shao Jizhu, a subordinate of the King of Xiangyang. Intent on seizing the evidence from Huo Linglong, Shao Jizhu was met with resistance. Under the guidance of a young swordsman in white, Huo Linglong defeated him. This young hero was none other than the legendary “Golden-Furred Rat,” Bai Yutang.

Together, Huo Linglong and Bai Yutang rescued Zhan Zhao. With their combined efforts, they relentlessly sought clues, upheld justice, and captured criminals, unraveling the extensive web of power that the King of Xiangyang had woven throughout the court and the martial world for years. Ultimately, they thwarted the King’s sinister plot and restored peace to the people.
