Chapter 1165: Primal Instincts

Fan Xian was beside herself with humiliated fury. She came charging in with all the force of a storm. She had truly had enough of Ye Fan. This naked mockery and provocation made her want to stamp the sole of her shoe directly into his face.

But no matter how furious she was, it was useless — the Fan Clan’s powerful warriors blocked her path. She could not enter. When she saw Ye Fan, he laughed and mocked her loudly, and all she could do was seethe and fume in silent rage.

“Hey, I was only joking. But you’ve rushed over here in such a hurry — don’t tell me you’re eager to use force on me?”

“Surnamed Ye, stop being so insufferably arrogant. You’re not as important to us as you think. Believe me when I say I can have you killed this instant!” The veins on Fan Xian’s forehead bulged.

“Burning with shame and rage — you’re not thinking of forcing yourself on me, are you? But even if it came to that, I wouldn’t let you have what you want.” Ye Fan laughed openly, completely unbridled.

“This young man is too outrageous. I genuinely want to beat him to death!” Several young men who had come with Fan Xian clenched their fists.

Ye Fan’s mouth was utterly vicious and relentless. Every single line was enough to make someone want to leap out of their skin, yet he showed not a shred of awareness, maintaining a completely indifferent air.

Fan Xian screamed with rage. “Soak him in the Extreme Yin Death Water — strip off a layer of his skin. If anything goes wrong, I’ll take responsibility!”

The powerful warriors guarding this place looked at one another. The young mistress had truly been pushed past her limit. She was in such a state of furious mortification that it was rarely seen in all her years.

“Do as Miss Fan has said. Soak him in the Extreme Yin Death Water and shut that mouth of his.” A man of considerable authority spoke up.

“Out of the question. Those above won’t permit it.” An elder shook his head.

“No matter. Since he refuses to cooperate, we’ll extract his blood and refine his genetic material directly — artificially intervene and accelerate the birth of the next generation of the Indestructible Golden Body.”

By now they had given up hope of a voluntary arrangement. Ye Fan was clearly impervious to both soft and hard approaches. They might as well extract his divine genetic imprint directly and artificially produce the second generation themselves.

“Life is the most magnificent miracle in the world. We may be able to replicate a Indestructible Golden Body in every outward respect, yet we cannot preserve its divine nature — you and I both know this. A naturally born next-generation Golden Body is the most powerful kind. If extreme measures can be avoided, they should be.” The elder pushed back.

The Fan Clan was truly struggling to handle Ye Fan. His tongue was vicious. Every drug and compound had failed to affect him. Whether the women who had been sent to his quarters or Fan Xian herself, who had personally stormed in trying to discipline him — all of them had been ridiculed without mercy.

Even someone as mentally resilient as Fan Xian had completely lost her composure. She had shouted more than once about wanting to castrate him. For the most beautiful woman in this entire star domain to have spoken such coarse words aloud — that alone was enough to show how much she had been provoked.

“My beauty, those words came from your own mouth. Did I hear wrong? Such crude language from you — should I say that this is your true nature, or that somewhere deep down you’re… anticipating something?”

“Kill that piece of garbage, I’ve had enough of him!” Fan Xian trembled with rage, her beautiful form shaking.

The Fan Clan was seriously beginning to consider using force — extracting his blood and genetic material and taking what they needed from that. But even for that, they would still need to consult the saint.

“Stop!”

In the end it was Fan Xian who halted them. She had been driven past the edge and decided on something thoroughly perverse in retaliation.

“Didn’t we capture an extremely rare Demon Emperor Ape in space? Shut it in the same place as this young man!”

The entire crowd of Fan Clan members stared in wide-eyed disbelief. They could see that Fan Xian had been pushed completely over the line by rage. Losing all patience, she wanted revenge.

The Demon Emperor Ape was a creature of absolute evil and absolute depravity and absolute licentiousness. They had sacrificed two half-sages to capture it. Its genetic makeup was terrifyingly powerful, and they had been considering extracting it for research, though they had not yet acted on it.

“The Demon Emperor Ape has a fondness for powerful men. Let us now satisfy that desire!” Fan Xian declared.

Ye Fan froze for a moment. He realized that provoking women above all others was a mistake — truly push them far enough, and they would do absolutely anything.

“AROOO—”

It was a massive demonic ape, its entire body covered in black fur over a foot long. It stood two zhang in height, its gaping maw dripping with saliva in long, nauseating strings.

“Invoke the great Dao divine principles, fully suppress him, strip away his ability to move, and assist the Demon Emperor Ape!” Fan Xian said with a malevolent expression, then turned and walked away. She was, after all, a woman — she genuinely did not dare to watch what came next.

“You’ve lost your mind!” Ye Fan understood he could endure no more. He prepared to break out of this prison. If he stayed much longer, he felt as though all the goosebumps on his body would fall right off him.

BOOM!

From between Ye Fan’s eyebrows, a cauldron burst forth. The primordial mother energy cascaded down — powerful enough to collapse cosmic space — and on the spot smashed the great black ape to a shattered heap of broken bones, sending it flying backward.

“What — that’s the primordial mother energy source root!”

“Heavens, this kind of immortal material, seen once in ten thousand ages, can be forged into divine god-level armor, making one absolutely unmatched beneath the heavens. He actually has this in his possession!”

The Fan Clan was thrown into chaos. Every guardian watching over Ye Fan was stunned, and they immediately rushed to report. The implications of this were enormous.

Ye Fan was breaking out. Every powerful warrior in the area was alerted, and together they rushed to activate the great Dao runes to stop him.

“Don’t worry — even a true saint cannot break through from within. This place was specifically built to hold saints. No one needs to panic.” Someone declared.

“You have the primordial mother energy source root?” Fan Xian, upon hearing the news and rushing to the scene, was visibly taken aback.

The heavens had not originally wanted to make a true enemy of Ye Fan. That ancient sage had not searched his body for the various treasures he carried — they had merely intended to arrange for some of the clan’s beautiful women to approach him. Afterward, it would be nothing more than a matter of wind and flowers and snow and moonlight, hardly the stuff of great grudges.

Now, however, they were having second thoughts. The value of something like the primordial mother energy was immense — it was worth making a move over.

“Golden blood, primordial mother energy — all of this concentrated in a single person. This is too dreamlike!”

BOOM!

A violent shudder. People discovered that the primordial mother energy enveloped something greenish and misty, crashing against the ancient sage symbols and erasing many of the ancient tracings.

“Not good — he may actually escape. We need to inform the Ancestral Sage immediately!”

The green bronze — how solid it was. Though there was nothing here worth rousing it to full awakening, the combination of the bronze fused with the primordial mother energy cauldron, used to batter and smash, was absolutely devastating. Its only shortage was divine power, but the mother energy cauldron supplied some of that in compensation.

RUMBLE!

The ancient sage prison split open. Cracks appeared one after another, countless symbols erased across a vast area. Ye Fan was on the verge of breaking through.

“Summon the Ancestral Sage to emerge from seclusion!” Someone shouted, rushing to call Fan Yuntong.

Suddenly, light of every color came shooting out, filling the air. Everyone felt the world spinning and their head swimming. This was coming from within the black prison — escaping outward, permeating everything with no barrier.

“Retreat, retreat quickly! Seal off every pore in your body, do not release your divine consciousness. These are holy medicines that stimulate the primordial instincts — they’ve leaked out from within the prison.”

Someone cried out, their face pale with fear.

In all these days, to deal with Ye Fan they had packed the prison to the brim with holy medicines of every variety. These were not merely physical compounds — they could also work through the divine consciousness, seeping in from every angle, capable of transforming into light, omnipresent.

These were sacred medicines, refined by a Medicine Sage versed in the ancient arts of alchemy. Of all things, they were the most frightening.

Thud!

Ye Fan broke through the grand formation and successfully escaped from the prison. The various lights and mists shot outward in every direction, flooding the entire area. There was no one who could hide from them — who could outrun light in a single instant?

“ROAR!”

Many people’s eyes went red. They let out guttural cries, wildness flooding their expressions. It was the return of their primal instincts. Some could no longer restrain themselves and broke into violent slaughter. Others were overwhelmed by bestial desire.

This place became utterly terrifying. Murderous intent pierced the sky, chaos reigning everywhere. The Fan Clan had brought this upon themselves, their own sacred medicines absorbed by their own people.

“Weren’t you looking to deal with me?” Ye Fan caught sight of Fan Xian standing out from the crowd ahead — unrivaled and striking, her ivory body now flushed a deep shade of pink.

“Why don’t you have some more?” Ye Fan scooped up a handful of the sacred medicine compounds and scattered them all over her.

“Ahh…” Fan Xian’s cry came with rapid, breathless gasps — somewhat high-pitched, stirring something deep in the soul.

Fan Xian stood tall and straight, her beautiful legs shifting from snow-white to pink, going nearly weak beneath her. Her entire being became incomparably dazed.

Ye Fan burst out laughing. Without looking back, he charged forward, continuously scattering more sacred medicines, throwing this entire place into absolute pandemonium. Everyone had gone mad.

“How dare you?!” Fan Yuntong had arrived. A saint could cross thousands of li in a single instant. He had opened his eyes and broken from seclusion, and in moments was already here.

BOOM!

A surge of sky-flooding sage power descended, directed at Ye Fan. Fan Yuntong was genuinely furious. What had become of the heavens now? Primal instincts unleashed, chaos about to erupt.

All of this had started with that young man. It was he who was scattering the sacred medicines in every direction — an absolute scoundrel, burning, killing, looting, without a shred of decency.

Ye Fan had yet to kill anyone. He was simply repaying them in kind. But the consequences were far more severe. The Demon Emperor Ape let out howls as it gave chase to several half-sages, its eyes gone completely red.

Ye Fan went up against the sage power, and naturally found it extremely difficult. His entire body’s golden blood energy blazed, the blood in his body feeling as though it had come to a boil. He sensed that things had taken a turn for the worse. Under the suppression of the sage power, his body was forced to resist with full strength — the sacred medicines transforming into light and then into mist had begun to affect him as well. He had no spare attention to neutralize them.

The Fan Clan’s warriors had all gone mad. The prison had devolved into complete chaos — primal instincts, slaughter, and base desires all intertwined, all erupting at once.

“I’ll kill you!” Fan Xian screamed, her full and arching chest heaving, nearly bursting through the constraints of her form-fitting garment. Her entire body of celestial jade flesh gleamed, her breathing rapid and ragged.

She still held a thread of reason. Seeing Ye Fan, she launched a direct attack — but it was completely useless against his holy physique.

A cold light flashed in Ye Fan’s eyes. He moved to end her. Though still at quite some distance, a single point of his finger was enough — a streak of blood appeared across her snow-white neck.

However, immediately after, he let out a muffled groan. The sage power descended from the heavens, Fan Yuntong’s expression cold and indifferent, cutting down with lethal intent, trying to swiftly put an end to this chaos.

BOOM!

A second surge of sage power appeared, meeting Fan Yuntong head-on and sending him flying, blocking his advance.

“Get moving now!” Qi Yao Guang had arrived. A saint could sweep across thousands of li in an instant. He had been hovering outside the heavens all these days, and now he revealed himself to provide assistance.

Ye Fan nodded. He turned and left, quickly laying down a Chessboard Formation. He stepped inside and walked forward. At this moment, he too felt his divine consciousness growing scattered. His gaze was no longer clear — the clash with a saint, and being saturated in those various lights and mists, meant that he too had been affected.

Behind him, Fan Xian had completely gone limp, breathing like warm fragrant mist, her snow-white form blooming with countless shades of red. She had entirely lost herself. Acting on pure instinct, she called out: “I want to… kill you!” She followed him through the domain gate, soft and barely able to lift her hands to strike.
