The Scorching Sun
Synopsis:
“Born in the mud, yet always reaching for the sun.”
Before getting to know Fang Zhuo, Yan Lie saw her as a shadowy figure—poor, difficult, gloomy, and so sensitive that she seemed impossible to approach.
After getting to know her, however, he discovered someone entirely different: a girl who was meticulous to a fault, steadfast enough never to look back once she had made a decision, hardworking to the point of never stopping, and a little sun who radiated vitality wherever she went.
Yan Lie: “…Wow!”
Fang Zhuo, on the other hand, thought of herself as a sunflower growing quietly and inconspicuously. Even after pouring all her energy into growth, she still seemed to be the smallest and shortest one of them all.
The swift, turbulent river called fate left her so exhausted that she scarcely had time to dwell on life’s unfairness.
Then, one day, a little sun suddenly appeared—its light focused entirely on her, shining on her twenty-four hours a day.
Fang Zhuo: “Huh…?”
